I don’t think it does? It’s a good event to attend.

The idea this year is to remove the downtime between practice and dinner. It’ll go straight to lunch this year.

If you have the time and haven’t done it…it’s a good time.

What conference? Headed to the convention center?
Veterinary Dental Forum. Held over near Sea World. I’m ER but wife is in dentistry. Really cool group as there’s less than 300 board certified in the world.

Taking the kids and ended up doing universal for the week instead of Disney due to 1) cost and 2) Harry Potter haha.

I initially thought we played at UCF so was excited to go to an away game but realized my mistake.

Great day. Random observations:

Raneys are super fun dudes. Very friendly.

Dreshaun moving around fine. Only had the little pull up neoprene pull up knee brace looking thingy. Dunked something on the basketball goal and participated in whole practice

Taylor becoming much more comfortable answering questions from a group. Charming, thoughtful and sometimes funny.

New facility 18-24 mths to build but DT hopes the inconvenience of the location will give it some priority to completion. Didn’t say this but reading between the lines still have a bit of money left to raise. Showed some pics-6 mats, cool viewing areas for receptions and meet and greets, lots of windows (eat that Iowa)

Threw a lighthearted jab to Bausch about the All star duals-said just a terrible date with ASU and Stanford and wished they’d (ASD) had better planning/communication because a few of our guys would loved to have gone but makes no sense to mess with a dual across the country for an exhibition.

Excited for the Invitational, unique, revenue generator fun for fans. Staff told me a few thousand tickets already been sold. Hoping to have finals at 3 but personally that will be booking it with 8-10 man brackets. Said everyone is healthy.

talked a bit about VTech not returning and said we expect we will wrestle them at national duals so wants to protect that event a bit and also scheduling is hard.

Jungle ball is so serious they have a full color weekly newsletter with rankings and stories. Zo apparently is terrible. Teams are in flux and DT just wants to stay in top 1/3rd

Coolest fact: the freestyle WCAP army program is going to be legit. 3 year non deployable commitment and they get paid to wrestle at the RTC, which is going to mean serious help paying guys interested in sticking around. Several of our guys signing up and more on horizon.

Other stuff I’m sure, but all in all a fun day
