Last year going into the season, I think coaches or writers were sayimg WF had the least talented team in the ACC and they went on to win 9 (refs cheated them out of 10).

Having another solid to good year again and currently ranked.

Hard to have depth these days no matter who you are. We’ll see if the true freshman or other backup is capable. OSU’s ground game isn’t all that great and if the threat of Smith and the pass game isn’t as effective it can put a big damper on their offense.

Lucky that they get the bye week to prepare. Two pretty highly rated options to go with. Day/Smith will have to earn their money to keep them moving. Not betting against them

The thought of Manning leaving Texas has been floating around lately and JKS could be another name floating out there soon too.

Cignetti in the market for another Cal qb lol?

I wonder how Underwood flaming out will impact future NIL deals. Feels like he is the first giant deal to end this poorly. Probably not much of an impact for bigger schools just yet
I figure it’ll follow something similar to like the NFL where rookie salaries are more controlled.

Not actual rules for it but teams might be a little more wary about handing out bigger deals to players out of highschool vs “veterans” who have already shown something on the college level.

If anything bigger schools might hold back a little but then the lower status school might go all in and take the risk to get that blue chip player out of highschool. I don’t watch MBB but it sounds like that’s what’s happening there. Bigger schools are hitting the portal while lower status schools are able to get some higher quality players out of high school.
