Received our WBB season tix today. Requested and received same seats as last two years.

That’s my situation as well, UNC76.My seats were moved, and I will be calling tomorrow for an explanation. The row and seat numbers are identical, but the section changed, and I'm wondering if the ticket office fat-fingered it.
That is exactly my situation. We have been in 107 since the renovation and season ticket holders even well before then. The explanation I got from the Rams Club is someone with more points than me was assigned my long time seats. Mine were also moved from 107 to 106... behind the visitor bench. I guess I'll get a close view of the trashy outfit Kim Mulkey wears. That is exactly my situation. We have been in 107 since the renovation and season ticket holders even well before then. This has been discussed on the baseball board. and people feel the same way, I have heard we are getting close to selling out of season tickets, which probably means more seat shifting is coming in Boshamer. I don't trust the ticket office to pick the "best" seats for me.What constitutes the “best” seat will vary by person. For example, we put a premium on being at the end of a row. We’d rather be at the end of a row in a “worse” section than in the middle of a row in a “better” section.

We see similar large numbers of no-shows for baseball, and the reasons it happens in both sports are the same. Season ticket prices are VERY reasonable, especially when you compare them with football and men's hoops. Add in that having season tickets guarantees you postseason tickets if UNC hosts, and that encourages people to purchase season tickets, with little to no desire to actually attend regular season games.
And it also just makes so much sense. With students, band, player/family seating, and GA seats for baselines/corners on the “upper level”…. There’s only like 3K seats to choose from. Let the people pick and lock them in to a multi-year (2-year) deal. It just makes sense.![]()
I've been screaming for seat selections for forever! "Best available" is so subjective!
I received the same explanation and I had the same response. While I understand that money talks, 1) we give a lot and rank pretty highly, and 2) we are there for all the games, not just dook, wuffies, and other marquee games. I commented that I would note how many of those seats are filled during non "premium" games. It is disheartening that long time loyalty and attendance are given no weight in this process. The explanation I got from the Rams Club is someone with more points than me was assigned my long time seats. I understand trying to take care of big money people, but too many of them are no-shows unless the opponent is dook. Meanwhile, my wife and I were there for every game. I did get a semi-apology for how this was handled, saying I probably should have been notified in advance that my seats were being moved. Maybe if that had been done, I could have had some input into the location for my new seats. Something tells me not everyone sitting in 107 has more points than me.
