How about the Florida Atlantic QB, transferred from Western Kentucky. Tearing it up. 72.2 % completion percentage. 15 TD’s and 3 INT’s. They are out there.

I have a cynical read in this. Schiano was forced upon Hobbs by the sit in crowd. When Hobbs knew his time was running out. Heat was beginning to build with his playing hide the baloney with the gymnastics coach. He renewed the contract and stuck it to the sit in crowd. You want him now you’re stuck with him.
Cynical I know. But probably not far from the truth. Schiano was not on any radar for hire or was ever a hot commodity to warrant an extension. This was a giant middle finger in the way out.

Honestly, this RU team lacks a lot talent at some positions. Not about NIL, but about talent eval and missed priorities.

It’s absurd that they can’t put a better LB on the field than #41 who is clearly a D2 player. What’s more ridiculous is GS insisting that he has the talent to play at the B1G level to all the RU beat writers.

I won’t speak to the dynamics here but there are definitely situations where ADs can be big footed by donors or the president or governor lol (in the case of LSU).
