Pickens County Police were on high alert last night. Trouble was brewing in the trailer parks. Dabo has created a time bomb up there. I'd steer clear of Walmarts and Dollar General Stores.

They have to figure out a way to fire Dabo. I read that they are downsizing the staff at the school, firing professors so they can afford to get rid of Dabo?

Living in Virginia I have a deep dislike (putting it nicely) for both teams. If they are not playing each other I always pull for both to lose.
VT is the Clempson of Virginia.

So is there any VA team you can pull for? Everyone I’ve ever met that went to UVA was intolerable and has to let you know every 5 minutes, kind of like UNC fans. I figured Tech was the go-to team in VA for anyone who wasn’t a prick.

This loss might put clemson in jeopardy of qualifying for the ACC championship game. At the moment it looks like it will come down to either Southern Methodist or Wake Forest playing Miami for the championship. Also, I believe clemson will be tested on the road against Florida State and Duke.

Thanks to the former Gamecock.

They are offering buyouts. It came out this week. But the truth is, most colleges aren't good businesses, even though they teach business. It's one of the great paradoxes. Take a look at one of their directories and marvel at the bloated staffs and faculties.

I heard about these buyouts from a coworker. I wonder what is behind them? Bloated administration or something more specific?

They also don't have the same economic forces to deal with that a typical private business does. It's much easier when you're spending other people's money and don't feel the direct financial consequences of your decisions/actions (something most govt organizations have the benefit of).

Would you ever grant an employee tenure in your private business? :ROFLMAO:

Don't be surprised if Chad Morris is the first lamb placed on the sacrificial altar in an attempt to appease the Urnj Cult.

Don't think that's going to work this year. This will be Dabo's last year coaching the Clemsonites.

He's like an incompetent mechanic - doesn't know the root cause of the probelm, so just keeps swapping parts in the hopes that he's guessed right this time.

I'll be very surprised if they pony up 50+ MIL to send their messiah packing. Maybe they'll just reveal the dirt on how they paid for those players and that will give them a reason to fire him "with cause" so they won't owe him the money? That would be the sweetest of ironies. 😄

No, because past performance doesn't guarantee future results.

I think he does know the problem. He is stuck in pre-NIL/portal world. I think he knows this, and I think he's stubborn enough that he thinks he can still succeed with the loyalty and family model.
