Great test as a first true road game. If our rookies can handle the environment there we should be able to handle any environment.
On a side note, old a$$ Melvin council was talking smack about rippey

It should be another good look at what this Duke team is capable of.
?TKR will be a good test for BB and Big Pat to see how much they can stay out of foul trouble .
Council is still at Kansas? He’s like the eight year football player who’s playing for Miami .

Lol...Both tkr and council are 24 and took advantage of the 5 for 5 rule. Smh
The Reeves vs Young debates were epic though. Reeves always seemed a step slow for the big time. Maybe he's improved. Looks like he has.

At Countdown that year he looked like a beast and then his first game he looked like Philip Seymour Hoffman
I think later in the first half Duke played more into what Kansas wanted them to do and it forced Duke to look more one dimensional. They got up on players making the pass harder to make to the open man . BB not barely getting touches due to Kansas defense .
Stokes is a free throw merchant. He's on pace for15 in the game. Think we play more of our main rotation guys in the second half.
It was either Pat free throws or nothing the last few minutes.
I thought Cayden was being way too passive. He’s looking to much for the pass not so much his shot .
What a week for this team. Today’s win was as every bit as impressive as earlier in the week. Most balanced team we’ve had in a while and still missing a key rotational piece. Onto Army Monday!
I think today’s game showed a lot more about this team than Tennessee did. BB got his first welcome to college moment. Rippey , Howard and Williams saw how hard it is to play at this level. Wilkins does all the intangibles you would want a player coming off the bench to do. Early but a good test. Not worried about Sarr’s shot . I want him attacking with Cayden, Foster, Rippey, Blackwell . Free throws and the other team in foul trouble is a good recipe for success. The three’s will fall but I don’t want to see Duke settling like Kansas made them do in the first half . Big Pat held his own down low but at times players had to calm him down . Going to be a fun season .
glad they pulled it out and got valuable practice work for next week leading to the start of the season...+85 points in the exhibition aint bad at all
Especially against an upperclassman lead team with the number one pick on it .
Just now getting to the recorded scrimmage. Council is in his 7th year? That is utterly absurd.
how is he even able to be playing?
