Anthem enforcers are the same people that camp in the left lane because no one should be going faster than the speed limit,

That's a ridiculous analogy, so I'm not surprised at all that you're the one who posted it.
No you won't

Companies are ppl too..

Corporations are not people and MUCH of the time they have their own agenda and do NOT have the best interests of people at heart. That should be very obvious in this day and age, but thanks for posting more nonsense.

I haven't stood--and will not stand--for the anthem as long as a cruel, evil, egomaniac dictator is allowed to continue demolishing American democracy. I'm weird like that.

I'm not reading through the 3 pages but my bigger problem is that it's putting some players, like Angel Reese, in a really bad spot because she actually represents team USA.

Citizens United gave corporations the right to free speech and the ability to buy elections. Giving them a hell if a lot more "citizenship" than you or i.
Sorry if you missed the point... or got your feelings hurt

Oh sure. Rhyne Howard and Angel both played for team USA in the World Cup this summer and stood for the anthem during the gold medal ceremony. Maybe they're both a couple of phonies and not intelligent, astute political observers.
It’s because they were required to by a body that actually would do something if they rebelled against the expectation.

Companies are NOT people, and people should (and DO) have their own rights in such matters. Sorry if that was too clear for you.....I don't know why the "feelings " thing keeps coming up. Merely stating an opinion.

Yeah them not being on the court for the anthem is totally the reason why the "average" *cough* white *cough* fan doesn't support them.
Perhaps it’s because there a lot of cough…lesbians…cough…whiney…cough…beotches in the WNBA.

Better yet, why don’t people stop playing the anthem every five minutes??? Before every event, often every game…

I go to the CA state hoops championships every year, two sextets of games, two days in a row. Have to stand for the bleeping anthem TWELVE times in two days.
Oh, the horror.

Whatever foibles this country of ours has or has had, under numerous administrations, doesn't detract from the freedoms I enjoy every day. I was proud to serve this country, and I served under two administrations, one Republican, and one Democrat. Made no difference to me then or now. I love my country regardless of who is leading it. I have never protested the National Anthem, and I never will. If you don't like whoever is in office, then vote.
Amen.

Okay, I'll contribute something. In the US standing for the national anthem isn't compulsory because we aren't North Korea. In fact, protesting or taking symbolic stands and having the right or duty to do so is something a person can choose to do in this nation. As we are a nation that came into existence from acts of defiance.
Sure people can do so…but the rest of us can mock them for looking like whiny babies.
