Does anyone have any insight on Genoa-Kingston? It looks like they're in Byron's conference, but I know next to nothing about them.

IC running clock…
GK has gotten crushed by any decent team they have played (Du-Pec,Dixon,Byron). Not a bad pro style offense with kids that do play hard.
Seeing how Dixon struggled with a 2-7 team last week may speak to the strength of the BNC as a whole. This should be a running clock shortly after halftime.

Looks like Johnsburg is beating Marian Central 7-0 in the 2nd quarter. A Johnsburg win means another game in Elmhurst next week. An MCC win and IC travels to Woodstock
Hoping the Genoa-Kingston player is alright. Never want to see an ambulance needed
A player for Genoa-Kingston has been down for about five minutes with a pretty nasty-looking injury. Ambulance incoming. Prayers.
That sucks. This game's outcome was always a formality. Hate to hear that a kid got seriously injured.
NFHS still focused on the kid and even did a replay of him getting medical attention.
If this doesn’t show NFHS should get the boot I don’t know what does.
Also why was there not an ambulance on site???
There were emergency lights just outside the field for several minutes. Perhaps they were deciding whether the ambulance driving onto the field was necessary. Really not sure.
There’s a special entrance an ambulance can go through that I don’t think they were aware of. Not sure why they didn’t have one onsite, but fortunately the hospital is a 5-10 minute drive from the field
I believe it’s being set up to give the teams time to warm up before starting the game again
Byron will be on the road next week with Pontiac beating the CPS school they play, so the game would be at Byron
