Outside of Rita and Loyola CCL teams don't petition upIf IC clocks the field, like many are predicting, do they petition up next year?
I hope so. I'm glad they stayed in 3A this year, because I want to see them take revenge on Byron. Long term, though, IC vs. Rochester is one of the biggest games that never happened, and I want to see it.If IC clocks the field, like many are predicting, do they petition up next year?
In the past 5 or so years, I think JCA petitioned to 4A when they won it with the Jordan Anderson team because they were borderline 3A and I think IC petitioned up to stay out of 2A … (maybe)Outside of Rita and Loyola CCL teams don't petition up
My bad that was 5A Naz went 4-5.Games got to be played…that 4-5 Naz team was pretty cool wasn’t it?
At the time, whatever year that was, JCAs natural class was 4A. That was that weird time after COVID where the multiplier got screwed up.In the past 5 or so years, I think JCA petitioned to 4A when they won it with the Jordan Anderson team because they were borderline 3A and I think IC petitioned up to stay out of 2A … (maybe)
You are correct but I thought JCA petitioned up anyway because they were borderline 3A enrollment, and I thought IC did similar one of those years. At the time, whatever year that was, JCAs natural class was 4A. That was that weird time after COVID where the multiplier got screwed up.
Fairly certain they didn't, JCA was 5A in 2019 and IC was 4A. After COVID they both dropped a class for 2021 and 2022 and then went back up. So those 2 years down a class would make sense for the old 2 year window for the multiplier and it being thrown off with COVID.You are correct but I thought JCA petitioned up anyway because they were borderline 3A enrollment, and I thought IC did similar one of those years.
Yeah I thought it was a preemptive thing for both of them that eventually didn’t matter because they ended up in the “desired” class that they petitioned to. But whatever… there’s a better than average chance that I remember wrong. I’m getting old lol.Fairly certain they didn't, JCA was 5A in 2019 and IC was 4A. I can definitely relate to getting old lolYeah I thought it was a preemptive thing for both of them that eventually didn’t matter because they ended up in the “desired” class that they petitioned to. But whatever… there’s a better than average chance that I remember wrong. I’m getting old lol.
IC petitioned up to 3A in 2021 during a season they would’ve been 2A. Don’t let those with a grudge against the team convince you you’re wrongYeah I thought it was a preemptive thing for both of them that eventually didn’t matter because they ended up in the “desired” class that they petitioned to.
