The Amines chose to wrestle for San Marino and there wasn’t a peep about how that improved their path. Same for Sebastian Rivera wrestling for Puerto Rico. I’ve seen far more angry messages about RBY wrestling for Mexico.
You’d have to be living in a cave to think there hasn’t been a peep about the Amines and their pathetic stunt. They’ve been mocked plenty, and deservingly so, for pretending to be from a country of 30,000 people to get an easier path.

So HWC has:
Spencer Lee - Going for Gold.
Bassett- Was in the room at Iowa for a few weeks, learned the Iowa style and pace that got him a gold from TnT.
A testament to the brand’s lightweight development skills! Lee wins 3 straight golds at U17/U20, goes to wrestletown and within 10 short years TnT have him in position to win gold. You think Cael could’ve made this happen? HWC!!

I think he stays at 61kg next year. Such a huge advantage sitting out to final X. I don’t remember if you medal but change weights if you get any sort of advantage.
Dont know about for next April at the Open, but for ‘28 trials, medaling in ‘27 at a non-Olympic weight won’t have any sit out. The ‘27 Open is only Olympic weights, date for the ‘27 non-Olympic weights trials TBD, but the plan is it will be far enough removed from the ‘27 Open that everybody can legitimately go to the ‘27 Open at their Olympic weight and still have time to get to their non-Olympic weight if they don’t win the Open. So I would expect Marcus to be at the Open, and if he doesn’t win, at 61kg later next summer trying to win that spot.

Is anyone aware of a site that lists the amount of points each wrestler has earned? For example, if I wanted to see how many points Kyle Snyder earned for Team USA, is that information readily available?

The points don't work like NCAA. For 1st through 5th team points it's 25 gold, 20 silver, 15 bronze, 10 losing bronze match. Then they go by "competition points" for 7th to the rest (depending on the bracket size). 5 for a pin, 4 for a tech, 3 for a win and 1 for scoring even if you lost. It's like 8 team points for 7th, 6 for 8th, 4 for 9th, 2 for 10th. This table has the amount of team points each weight has earned for their country.

And we thank you. Never knew how the scoring was calculated.
