At this point in time, medical insurance increases are arcoss the board. No such thing as Obamacare premiums rising independent of medical costs/insurance in general. Showing a picture of a fence sign doesn't change the dynamic.

You realize each carrier has age-banded ACA rates, right? They increased those on average by 13%. You can check plan prices on the marketplace and see it. It’s incredible that people don’t know this. Privilege

my corporate plan increased at least that much.
These pretend Republicans really don’t understand that Trump is just a vehicle.
I like the toilet analogy better.

Lawyers are the worst part of society. McDonald's offers a fully fake "McRib" sandwich for 40 years (it comes and goes from their menu) and LA lawyers have found 4 people so aggreived that these lawyers have filed a cla$$ action lawsuit because the McRib doesn't include meat from the rib area of the pig. You can't make this up and our legal system is letting it go forward. Hopefully they get zero paid billable hours but they know how to game the system and probably will get millions. Just need to shake down McDonalds and get them to settle - the lawyers get paid first and the consumer gets an email telling them of a settlement.

You clearly don’t understand how any of this works. First you said it was growing slower than it was in the past. At the same time, you questioned the 13% even though the data is out there. You don’t even realize that carriers price their ACA compliant plans separately from their risk based plans, and that they track that pricing.

I could probably tell you why your plan has increased the way it has, but I can tell you don’t care about how all this stuff works. You don’t know the most fundamental facts, and deny them when shown the #s.

you are right, I don’t care all I know is that all medical costs and my insurance is going up without an increase in benefits . All of my docs are going concierge so I refuse to pay that increase. Couldn’t find new MDs only DOs now only Nurse Practitioners. Oh yeah, socialized medicine would suck.

Thank ACA. The initial plan was to penalize companies that offered rich benefits (Cadillac tax), so everyone watered down their benefits. Carriers/companies were told they had to meet minimum standards, so yes, most plans are worse now. That’s certainly not what we were sold.

Wow, sounds like things are getting dire.
Oh yeah, socialized medicine would suck.

You started with “ACA hasn’t caused rates to increase faster”. You claimed it wasn’t even a factor. Now that I’ve educated you on how they are growing faster (and 13% is proof of that), you’re argument is gone and you just want your socialized medicine.

It will suck, and we will all pay more for people like you that don’t understand basic math.

Moronic post is moronic. It’s like you think insurance companies should lose money out of the kindness of their hearts. Meanwhile up north in Canuckistan, the single payer health system has long waits for services and is quite eager to suicide people. Why would Mick Jagger fly across the pond to America and private pay for a medical procedure, when he could use “free” healthcare in England? The answer is long waits and a care system that is low par. The British single payer system is bankrupt.

What a massive failure, which of course was part of the plan. Make healthcare insurance so painful that single payer seems like the only option.

Please add a nose ring and a useless degree that qualifies them as a "high information" voter.

Well the low information voters are surging Dem this year so you should no longer love or defend them.

But then again, like most people with more extreme views on partisan issues (left and right), you don't understand anything about winning elections, as evidenced by your primary vote for Paxton. That one is going to sting (and it may well be worse than my Tal-a-FREAK-on by 2 prediction).

Lake Meade up 10 feet after the last storms, Sedona currently being evacuated., Scottsdale already at 4 inches of rain this weekend. Quite the Fall in Arizona. For reference, Phoenix averages 8 inches of rain per year.
