She thinking what the hell is this moron talking about.Next Saturday when it’s 70 and sunny in San Diego and I tell her I have 10 hours of college football to watch

Todd Knisley, Keli’s #2.That’s not her husband next to her. I don’t know who that is.
Keli is in a very untenable situation due to the toxic combination of Schiano’s coaching incompetence and Hobbs’ AD malpractice with that ridiculous extension. Throw in NJ media’s animosity towards RU football and budget issues, and I don’t envy her.
But she is paid well to make tough decisions and tough decisions need to be made.
She has to already have a couple of candidates on deck. If not she will be as unprepared as HS look every Saturday. If she doesn't pull the trigger and GS is here next year then that means he has something on someoneAgreed. This season is lost no matter what happens the rest of the way, and let it finish. I’m of the opinion that the day after the MI State game the decision needs to be made.
Given the Wild West of college football today, the right choice can produce almost immediate favorable results. See Indiana, Northwestern, UCLA, etc.
In crisis lies opportunity.
I guarantee you she has already made up her mind as to whether she is going to fire GS. If she has decided to fire him, the back door people are already speaking to the back door people of coaches she would like. Gauging interest. Every athletic director has a list of as least three candidates for every coaching position at their school. They are always prepared in case of an emergency opening or in this case a well thought out terminationShe has to already have a couple of candidates on deck. Maybe she’ll keep Schiano and just add both Lane K and Brian Kelly and they’ll just go with the first coaching triumvirate in history…which dates back to 1869 of course. She has to already have a couple of candidates on deck. This is the look that says:
Cheese agrees, Shelby. Cheese still wants to see Shelby in charge. So we’re all psychoanalysts now ? We have no idea what she thinks of Schiano, let alone from her facial expression. Of course we hope she’s doing everything she can to rid the university of The Grifter but until she does, the only assumption is that she still wants to keep him.
Further, it’s not her decision. She needs financial backing.
Do you really think that Rutgers does not have a short-list of new Head Coaching candidates?Maryland and others who have already fired their coaches have a head start on the best possible candidates. If we hire someone who is making $2 million for say $3.5 million, the savings vs Greg at $6 million ipartially funds the buyout. There also is an offset if he gets another job. The same logic applies to his large staff. I would also believe the new coach will require fewer headcount than Gregg.
Not a single word spoke by Zinn, in support of Greg, this entire season. Says it all.Folded arms and a serious stare from your boss is not a reaasuring sight. She looks like she doesn’t buy the Schiano BS.
I've met Nate a few times. Probably throwing a few back preparing for Keli's inevitable need to do the same shortly following Greg's latest psychobabble bullshyte session. That’s not her husband next to her. I don’t know who that is.
True but an empty stadium reflects the larger picture.
Are you implying the stadium was primarily empty because of Halloween? I can tell you that this was the first game this season that nobody from my group went and that had nothing to do with Halloween.
It wasn’t just RU. Halloween is a big holiday if you have little kids. Students rather start early with a darty that rolls into a big party at night.
Another insider who has inside information into what is going on. Please stop with these posts.$28 million in all the coaches buyouts will prevent her from doing anything. With the current fiscal state of the University the buyouts are totally unaffordable.
But is that her replace him face, or I'll have to pit up with this again next year faceIf you want to know what Keli’s thoughts are on the current football coach, see her face at the Schiano rinse and repeat presser. She’s as disgusted as everyone else. Pictures say a thousand words. These images probably say ten thousand.
This is why I said, when she was hired, this was a completely unwinnable for her from the very start. To be elevated into this role is to be thrust into a situation designed for failureKeli is in a very untenable situation due to the toxic combination of Schiano’s coaching incompetence and Hobbs’ AD malpractice with that ridiculous extension. Throw in NJ media’s animosity towards RU football and budget issues, and I don’t envy her.

Kids are different. And to be clear they should NOT be on staff in the first place so it’s justifiable regardless of performance. But if you have kids just put yourself in Greg’s shoes if an AD were to fire your sons. Do you think you are just showing up to the office BAU? You would be so butt-hurt and enraged you are calling up your lawyer to get you the F out. There's already a reduction included in the contract. You're not getting anything else from Greg.
Even by some chance he's here next year, (God help us), his kids are expendable, low-level pawns on this chess board. You're not leveraging anything there because Keli has already asserted herself over Greg in different ways this year. The reduced travel party is only one thing. There are other things that may eventually come out but she's got Greg's spending habits that went unchecked under Hobbs in her crosshairs.
LOL, it hasn't been BAU all year for Greg but I'm not revealing what else I've been told.Kids are different. And to be clear they should NOT be on staff in the first place so it’s justifiable regardless of performance. But if you have kids just put yourself in Greg’s shoes if an AD were to fire your sons. Great dude. Great for RU.I've met Nate a few times. Probably throwing a few back preparing for Keli's inevitable need to do the same shortly following Greg's latest psychobabble bullshyte session.
Keli nabbing him was a huge win. I’ve not met him yet but I know he’s very highly thought of.Todd Knisley came to us from Ohio State. Among other things in his job description he is the chief revenue officer for the athletic department. He is highly regarded in the industry and is a key part of the long overdue infrastructure that Zinn is building.
I think it’s just a face of disgust. But is that her replace him face, or I'll have to pit up with this again next year face
There is contract language that the head football coach makes hiring and firing decisions. The only area Keli can dictate is budget. She should consider slashing it.Kids are different. K I didn’t realize Keli couldn’t fire his sons and bloated staff. There is contract language that the head football coach makes hiring and firing decisions. The only area Keli can dictate is budget. She should consider slashing it.
where is your kid playing lacrosse btw? You said you lost it after the year started. It’s November.
She’s in over her head and butting up against the BOG and deep pockets in NYNJ. This ain’t the NOLA swamps, honey. She looks horrified

Yes, but more about the students. Are you implying the stadium was primarily empty because of Halloween? I can tell you that this was the first game this season that nobody from my group went and that had nothing to do with Halloween.
I believe she learned the win or else attitude at LSU and won't allow others with a we can't do that type of attitude stop her from making the Rutgers Athletic Department into a do it or get out type of place for her HC hires .She’s in over her head and butting up against the BOG and deep pockets in NYNJ. Students weren't showing up for a 12:30 game to watch a ****** 2-5 team play regardless of "Halloween." We were out in Brumfus after the game, until about 9, and it was still DEAD for the most part.Yes, but more about the students.
They only celebrate Hallloween in NJ

I guess most of you didn’t read the article I linked. UCLA had the lowest attendance of the year. It must be their bad team performance. They only celebrate Hallloween in NJ
