Ok…..why didn’t we do that for this season?

Are you disputing the reporting on how much NIL Rutgers had? It has us in the mix with a significant amount of the conference and significantly more than two teams that we lost to.
And you conveniently overlook the capital expenses the rest of the conference has incurred to build the best facilities money can buy.

Here’s Marylands Fieldhouse.

What do you expect from someone that's in over their head with a lie that they're not smart enough to extricate themselves from.

If Rutgers had beaten Michigan & their upper $30m roster, Al would have been caught in a vortex of his own making. According to him the players are chicken chit, and Rutgers can't win without spending more.

Better preseason decision making like hiring a DC in two weeks like the rest of college football would have made a huge decision and yield better portal players. Plus, coaching, game prep and a multitude of other things all controlled by Greg.

We spend more money per win than any coach in the B1G!!!

Someone use ChatGPT or Fat Koko to crunch those numbers

Comp and wins vs Overall Schedule, B1G Only, and Top 25 Teams since Schiano took over 2.0

Another swing and miss from you. I can even feel the breeze.

Rondo Porter committed to Rutgers 1/6.

J’Dan Burnett committed 1/18

Malachi Davis committed 1/4

If we had budget to get kids who could actually play, this season would have been much better

And you're going to ignore that Richie reported on the Round Table that numerous defensive targets wouldn't commit without knowing who the DC they'd be playing for was.

Just because everyone on the free board didn't know that back then doesn't mean we're going to let you lie about it now and continue gaslighting people here.

Greg had the money and fcked everything up by not hiring a DC in early Dec. like everyone else. He had a 6 week head start because he relieved Smith of his duties on Oct. 18th but couldn't find someone until Feb. 11th. It shouldn't take FOUR months to get it done. Especially after he did the same crap the year before and got stuck hiring Robb Smith out of desperation.

The delay had a cascade effect on the portal, in the area he needed players the most, because Greg thinks he's the smartest guy in the room like you. He's reaping what he sowed; no one cares for his lame presser excuses now. He cooked himself and he can't lie his way out of it.

So why hasn't Maryland won anything? Despite these palatial facilitiies, they can't even beat RU, who according to you, has a bargain basement roster, crappy facilities, a crappy campus, and a cheap fanbase unwilling to "pony up" for better talent.

We’re awful. I’m not worried about losing guys to the portal

Liar.
Since when don't you care?

One of your main arguments against firing Schiano was "we'll lose players to the portal".

And people literally said "Who cares if they are bargin basement" as you called them.

"I care if 50+ players leave, because we don’t have the NIL to replace them."

Nick, perhaps you need hooked on phonics to improve your comprehension. There’s a big difference between losing 15 players and losing 50+. We don’t have budget to replace 50+ for starters.

Our best player committed 1/6, so it’s not true that we didn’t get players. Had we had more money, we would have gotten more players. You put enough 0’s on the check, and we would have gotten out share. It’s called a risk premium.

This years portal class will be much better because well have more money.

Richie literally rejected every one of your narratives yesterday in a single thread. And he knows Rutgers situation better than you could ever dream of knowing it.

That was his way of telling you to STFU he's had enough of your nonsense.

LOL!!! You picked the program that we’ve beaten 3-straight times to do what? Contradict your own ********?
Just pointing out that even a similar program to us financially, found a way to seriously improve their facilities. They make a good hire and we are seriously screwed, because that was one of the few wins we could count on, even though they had better talent.

GTFO. Richie is a publisher. He’s not God and he didn’t elect you to be his enforcer. We can disagree respectfully and move on. And we were talking about the Syracuse situation, so as usual, you’ve betrayed your own lack of comprehension.

I’m paying Richie $11 a month or so to be knowledgeable about Rutgers situation, so your stupidity knows no limits.

Maryland needs a better coach.
Really? That sounds familiar. YOU have said, repeatedly, that facilities and money are the most important determinants of winning. YOU have said repeatedly that coaching isn't a factor. Now you're saying that, in Maryland's case, coaching is the reason they're losing.

The Round Table, the free board and the Main Board all unequivocally disagree with your takes on Rutgers football. Yet you keep coming back with the same broken narratives every week, month, year. Every situation you bring it’s the same answers.

Greg screwed up with NIL that allowed him to compete.

Facilities are perks now, the kids don’t care as much about them unlike the rich guy who wants his name on the building.

Rutgers can compete in the B1G, it just doesn’t have the right staff in place.

So RU was going to run the table with a bunch of players who couldn't really play? YOU said that this roster was capable of beating the defending National Champions. Now they can't play?

Anyone who has to brag about someone getting destroyed on a messageboard really needs to get a life. I have so much space in your head, I should be paying rent. Loser.
You have about as much space in my head as you have in the average woman’s. Zero.

It hilarious watching you flail all over this board. So much so you created numerous alias to try and make it seem like your loser positions are palatable. You’re the biggest loser on the internet. Every one of your positions gets utterly destroyed, most often by your own previous posts. Nick using your own words to defeat your latest position is hilarious. You literally can’t be a bigger loser.

Absolutely. Those are the prerequisites to winning at the highest level. the coach got 7 years with every advantage. Has Coach Schiano had 7 years with every advantage? No, he hasn’t. Maryland has a 5 ⭐️quarterback and they still can’t win. Meanwhile, we’re playing with defenders who don’t belong in this conference and a quarterback who is struggling. Give Schiano enough NIL support and a new Fieldhouse, and we will ultimately win the Big Ten. Once we have the baseline talent, we can move on to Schiano’s coaching.
