Does Iowa owe the clowns a solid? The Hawks will very likely be back in the Top 25 today, and Okie Moo U will drop out.

Should we send them a thank you card? Sympathy cards are more the norm.
We were going to be back in the Top 25 regardless of what Iowa State did. Maybe we end up 21st instead of 22nd, but that’s not worthy of a thank-you card.

Iowa won. Deal with it.
I have. And I’m amazed that the other teams in your glorious conference can’t even play a close game with you Except MN, and you had no right losing that game.

Okie St had been feasting on the lower tier teams on their schedule and probably deserved to be ranked. Last night they ran out of luck.

#17, 19, 22, 24, and 25 all lost. #20 beat a G5 by 1.

Iowa would have been in either way.

Ohio St will be lucky to make the playoffs with Sayin out.
fO$U should be out! Remember when an undefeated Florida State team was denied a spot in the playoff cause their QB was knocked out in game 10?

The College Football Playoff Selection Committee excluded the undefeated 13–0 Florida State Seminoles from the four-team 2023 College Football Playoff after star quarterback Jordan Travis suffered a season-ending lower left leg injury against North Alabama on November 18, 2023. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Key Details of the Exclusion
    • The Injury: Jordan Travis fractured his leg on a hip-drop tackle in the first quarter of the North Alabama game, ending his college career.
    • Committee's Reasoning: Selection Committee Chair Boo Corrigan cited Travis's injury and the subsequent uncertainty at quarterback (including a concussion to backup Tate Rodemaker ahead of the ACC Championship) as altering FSU's team profile, choosing 12–1 Alabama and Texas over the undefeated Seminoles.
    • FSU's Unbeaten Run: Despite the injury, FSU rallied to beat Florida on the road and defeated Louisville in the ACC Championship Game with backup/third-string quarterbacks to finish 13–0, becoming the first undefeated Power Five conference champion left out of the playoff.
    • Reactions: Head coach Mike Norvell, athletic director Michael Alford, and Travis strongly condemned the decision as an injustice that invalidated on-field results. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8]

If the new QB wins out and OSU ends 10-2, they will be in, but I dont see that happening. Comparing the FSU and OSU scenarios is apples and oranges.
