Nebraska - Washington might have been the most "entertaining" game of the week.

Game was, on the field, incredibly lackluster - a match up of two bad teams playing poorly.
But watching and waiting for the imminent Nebraska collapse - wondering "How in the F are they going to screw this up" was must see TV.

For those who didn't stay up late to watch it, you missed a classic collapse - AGAIN - by Matt Rhule/Nebraska.

Like nothing I've ever seen. 20 minutes of an increasingly manic rant to start the "press conference".
UNL football really has become a bizarre show.

Just one year ago, they gave him a contract extension through 2032 (at $12 Million per year).
But it would not surprise me if he is not there next year.

And since that contract extension? UNL is 6 and 7.
The six wins against 3 out of conference cupcakes, and conference wins over UCLA (last year, when they were a train wreck) and Michigan State and Maryland this year.
And they still have yet to beat a single ranked team in Rhule's tenure.
UNL leadership - like many programs' "leadership" - really screwed the pooch and put themselves in a bind. And now they either continue down this rabbit hole, or cough up another $60 million.

I hope that PSU will be able to take advantage of the collapses and potential coaching changes at schools like Nebraska, Colorado and Rutgers. All 3 are vulnerable and all 3 have kids we have recruited and wanted in this 2027 Class.

Matt Rhule doesn’t really want to be in Lincoln Nebraska.

He reluctantly took the job because he was previously fired, found himself bored in forced retirement and understandably was willing to take free money.

He really only wants to come home to State College.

That Nebraska QB could be an interesting portal pickup (at the right price) for '27 if he enters.
