Is anyone going to a "Sailgate"?

(Fun fact: Penn State played at Washington in 1921 in the 7th game ever played in Husky Stadium. Coach Hugo Bezdek's Nittany Lions won 21-7. PSU is 4-0 all time against UW.)

Son and I are making a trip of it:

Direct flight from Dulles on Wednesday.
Kraken-Flames hockey night.
PSU party at Tom’s on Friday night.
Saturday PSU @ UDubs
Would have loved to get on the PSU sailgate but it was already booked and quite expensive. If there are any others looking to recruit two PSU scurvy dogs for their crew, we are available.
Sunday Cardinals @ Seahawks (we are both 12s)

Still figuring out what we want to do on Thursday, Friday and Monday morning/early afternoon.

Looking at taking a ferry to Bremerton for the Navy museum and the USS Turner Joy. Also looking at the aquarium and some time at Pike Place.

Is a day trip to Mount Rainier feasible? We didn’t rent a car. I’m looking at travel companies that offer trips to either there or Olympic or Snoqualmie Falls.

Any PNW Lions want to share advice?

I'm flying out from Newark at 6:30 on Wednesday. My daughter flies out the next day. I have a rental car so we'll be moving around.

Going to Leavenworth on Thursday. Maybe Ranier on Friday, but that's not set in stone. We might stay closer to Seattle instead.

I registered for the party at Tom's, but we might not attend depending on where everyone wants to eat dinner.

PHL-Seatac Wed 7 am departure.

Meeting extended fam Wed between Seattle and PortlZnd.
Back to Seattle to stay with a cousin

Rest of crew gets in Thursday. i know one day we are doing a whiskey tour. Other than that I am just following the group.

Leave Wed evening from PHL, wife, our oldest son and his wife. Thursday day trip to Rainier with a couple of hikes. Friday out toward Olympias, another couple of hikes. Registered for the Tom’s party, but will it by ear if back to seattle in time.
Sunday, kids fly back to PA, my wife and I are headed to Puerto Rico till Dec4.

Son and I flying outta CLT Wednesday evening. Doing the required tourist stuff around town on Thursday - Space Needle, Market etc. Dinner with a long lost relative Thursday evening and then a visit to his farm on Friday. Back to CLT way too early Sunday morning.
