I watched some of the second half and the Badgers are going to really struggle again. Deal is still very slow, although she can shoot if left open (5-12 with 3 turnovers). Teagan is playing a shooting guard role, which she clearly enjoying chucking up threes (7-19 with 1-6 from three).

The girls are certainly going to get playing time, they just aren’t going to win much.

Listen to the Wiscy press conference and they have 3 bigs out and a fourth player played last night on zero practice and out for 1 1/2 weeks prior to this game against Bradley. I can't imagine what our team would look like with that injury report on our first game.

They definitely won't be last place as PSU and Purdue will duke it out. for that spot. Think Rutgers will top Northwestern for the next tier up from what I can tell right now. Believe IN has too much now to take Wiscy below them. I'd say ~14th is a good landing spot for them. Anything above 14th and think they overachieve.

EDIT: I should state Rutgers could be the surprise team moving up out of this group. They have a new coach and they did pick up some key players that most likely will do better than they have been.

And after reading Kyle's article let's not ignore Whiting's contributions. If she turns out to be a better defender/passer/rebounder than Deal maybe Jan deserves some credit for letting "that type of talent leave the program".
