This would have an almost immediate impact on prices, reduce inflation, and cost Very Little, if anything, to implement. They were implemented illegally to begin with, without Congressional approval, and would have a tremendous cost-cutting effect for consumers and businesses alike. Consumers Win, Businesses Win, Stock Market Booms, it would be the smartest, and EASIEST thing the democrats could do and EVERYONE benefits.

Hopefully they follow my advice.

Once again, you have no idea what you are talking about.

How is Congress going to repeal an action it never took? Trump imposed the tariffs, not Congress. Many decades ago, Congress vested the President with certain authorities when it comes to tariffs. (But you knew that, right? lol) The only way to take that back is to pass new laws overriding the tariffs, which President Trump will veto.

Not surprisingly bad advice.

Whatever, Einstein! You showed me. 😂 The point is still valid. Once they are “removed,” prices and inflation WILL drop considerably. A WIN for the American consumer 🇺🇸 and a WIN for the democrats. Of course you would hate for the democrats to do something positive for the American people.

Sure with our close trading partners (Can, Mexico, EU, Japan, South Korea). Also on raw materials and goods that we can't or won't produce here. Def need strong tariffs in multiple areas like semi-conductors for instance. Dems are generally pro tariff in areas that can boost domestic manufacturing. Republicans were the ones that were against them...before Trump at least. Across the board tariffs with arbitrary % is what's dumb.

Inflation has been coming down since Biden left office. When it was in double digits. You keep fighting for that overseas cheap slave labor though. I wouldn't expect anything less from a Democrat.

I get it. Coal/Energy are the Life Blood of the state. People vote 🗳️ with their wallets. Trump was pro-coal/energy. The democrats just want clean coal, clean energy. To diversify our dependence on energy sources/products that are harmful to the environment to cleaner, renewable sources. I believe there needs to be a healthy balance of both.

I have lived in Virginia nearly my entire life. A democratically controlled state for decades. It is currently rated the #3 state for business by CNBC and was rated #1 just a year ago. Does that sound like socialism to you? No, it sounds like SMART governance. Democrats are just as capable as Republicans in making sound, intelligent economic decisions.

Except last November the Dems swept the state elections telling us how they will make everything more affordable for Virginians.

I must ask, what is more affordable today and what action did the Dems take in the last year to accomplish that? I don't really see anything more affordable.

It’s not. But if you want to kill a newborn legally, va is the place to be. She rejoined REGI which put an extra .07 on a gal of gas. It will start to fall in years to come but Loudoun Co is #1 in Data centers.

I don’t recall that, please provide your source. Like ALL Americans, we are feeling the impact from higher fuel prices and higher inflation, all as a result of Trump’s war and failed economic policies and tariffs. Virginia is not immune from the overall economic problems.

Good Lord. OK, we are a horrible state because we support a woman’s right to choose within medical and legal guidelines. Agree. Data Centers are an issue in Loudon County.

The Democrats were attempting to destroy the gas car industry a couple of years ago and make us buy electric cars with batteries made in China. Not to mention the rest of the green new deal. Mostly made in China. Seriously how much is the CCP paying you per post or is it a lump sum?

The majority of Americans don't agree with you. Lots of people didn't even vote. Like in many Mid-Term elections. The rest don't realize if we had the internet during WW2 somebody like you would have been on here defending the Nazis because gas prices were higher. Like I said the Democrats and DSA had declared war on the oil industry years ago. If they had their way we would be giving out fuel rations right now.
