See the link below. From the article:

“The World Anti-Doping Agency on Saturday confirmed reports that 23 Chinese swimmers had tested positive for a banned drug before the Tokyo Olympics but that it accepted the country's findings it was due to substance contamination.

Multiple reports said the swimmers tested positive for trimetazidine, which is found in heart medication, months before the COVID-delayed Games began in the Japanese capital in July 2021.

CHINADA, China's anti-doping agency, and the Chinese Swimming Association did not immediately respond to Reuters' requests for comment.

WADA said it was notified in June 2021 of CHINADA's decision to accept that the swimmers returned adverse analytical findings after inadvertently being exposed to the drug through contamination.”

Just a misunderstanding.

I am continually amazed that the best athletes on the planet require the number of drugs that they do and that those are so frequently contaminated with banned substances. Or maybe it's in their food.

Chinada Spokesperson told the governing body that it would all be forgotten about by 2024.

Just a misunderstanding.
The banned drug apparently was used to prevent “significant shrinkage!”

Right now, somewhere in China and/or Russia, they are figuring out how to turn a man into a woman to pass Olympics tests. For the last 50 years both countries have tried so hard to skirt drug testing. For what?
