See the link below. From the article:

”The National Arena League kicked the Albany Empire out of the league Thursday after team owner Antonio Brown failed to pay either a required fee or a fine he received after recent public comments.

"After exhausting all avenues, the NAL board of owners have decided unanimously to terminate the membership agreement of the Albany Empire," the league said in a release. "The decision was reached after an emergency conference call of the members in good standing to discuss the Empire's failure to pay their league mandated and overdue assessments."”

I‘m sure brown had this.

I'm sure the NFL does plenty of due diligence on prospective owners. I'd guess this league doesn't have the resources for much and brown dangled cash in front of them and they had no complaints. But a simple credit check could have precluded this situation. I feel bad for the team and everyone involved who had no say over brown coming in.

In a rejected story the PAC 12, after losing USC and UCLA to the Big Ten, recently announced they plan on exploring expansion into the Albany, NY area.

"Albany is such a perfect fit for our conference- we should have considered this earlier".

Antonio Brown Troubles, Again. Team tossed from league, fined, tested positive, refused to provide requested documentation.

It's clear at this point he actually enjoys dicking people around for money he owes them for work they've already performed. I've met a few people like this in my life and it's a terrible trait; treating people like dogs waiting for a treat.

Say what you will about him, but at least he's consistent. I have no idea why anyone is doing any sort of business with him, he's made it abundantly clear that he's to be avoided.
