Was with friends driving in downtown Pensacola back in the 70's when we were pulled over for speeding. The cop asked the driver to be honest and tell them if we had any weed. The driver actually handed over 1/4 Oz bag. The cops said "You're in luck, we're letting you go with half tonight" put the bag between his fingers, shook it up and down a few times, ripped in half, threw one half back in his lap and left.
