During the 2024 season, several games seemed to go from bad to worse for the Golden Hurricane. When the team hit tough situations, resiliency was lacking and frustration set in. Will TU handle adversity better under Tre Lamb?

Considering last year’s TU football team lost 6 games by more than 30 points, this is a big question! It was obvious to everyone (other than OU homers & TU haters) that Tulsa needed a new coach after a season like that. It’s also probably a good thing that there was a heavy roster turnover.

I don’t have as high of win/loss expectations for Lamb’s first season as some TU fans, but I very much expect a tremendous change in team attitude. I therefore expect that Tulsa players will fight to the end of every game and because of that fight, blowout losses will no longer be an expected result.

BTW, postgame media sessions will definitely not be anything like last season!
