If there is any consolation with this, is Tatum has said publicly that his commitment will NOT end his recruitment. He still plans on taking visits and such.

Not good, something bad is going on in Norman. The coaching staff, is losing out on instate and out of state kids. Three flips and three of the Top Oklahoma prospects choose, Texas and tOSU.

I wouldn't want to play for Mike Stoops if I was a young hot shot recruit but damn, this is getting bad.

Chooses Texas over OU. Not good when you cant get local talent to stay.

Well, there are two 4 star WRs from Oklahoma that haven't received an offer from OU yet. So it kinda goes both ways. Some kids want to stay in state and some want to go away, just as OU doesn't offer every Oklahoma kid, 4 Star or not. They each have their reasons. I want to get the kids that want to play for the Sooners.

OU will pound Texas in October on the way to it's CFP Playoff appearance while Texas limps to 7 wins.
At that time, the Tatum's of the World will be calling Bob for a flip.
Mark it down

Yeah right. OU barely limped out with a win over a Strong coached Texas team, last year. Herman said he has more talent than what he had at H-Town, and he can coach... but OU fans already got to experience that first hand. Herman about to whoop Stoops a$$ again. The recruits know it too. Rising, Tatum, come on down! #TexasTakeover

he can coach when he has an eternity to prepare. but you don't lose Navy, SMU and Memphis if you're a good coach on normal work weeks...

thats the one thing Bob doesnt have as much of overall is long time planning games...but from week to week there isnt a much better coach...except for maybe Saban

We have been saying for quite some time now that we need a strong Texas program for the rivalry and the conference. It's time for the 2nd Sat. in Oct. to mean something again. Let's get it on! We have never been afraid of Texas contrary to the Aggies and the Huskers.

Herman was 6-0 against the top 25, with a big win against OU, I'll take it. Now he'll have the talent to do it every week.

Lol, ya Herman hit a home run against OU last year, then failed pretty miserably during the course of the year against the "cupcakes" on his schedule. I guess Herman is solid when he has the entire off season to come up with a game plan. The rest of the season...uh oh!!! haha :D:D

You got beat.

yeah we did....but not by tu nor will we this year...herman cant coach week to week against a real schedule ....you guys just pay up to every tom dick and harry who finally won a few games in the old wac...then you have to pay them millions to get out of their contract so they can go back to the maac and be paid more than their whole conference combined by your boosters...that way you can do it all over again. so see you smarting off in another 3 or 4 more years when you get the next coach from Tulane to give you some testosterone finally...

Herman manhandled Bob Stoops, that is what you should be concerned about. He made Bob tap out. Your entire team quit. So no luck needed, just another a$$ whooping handed out.

Count the number of Texas players on your roster every year... go ahead. OU could not exist without Texas talent. This is always a dumb conversation, which is why Billyray jumped right in, it fits him.

That's right, OU recruits a ton of talent out of Texas. Always have, always will. Got any more brain busters for us??

Wow, you are one slow dude. You really missed it huh? You realized how stupid your prior comments were, without realizing how stupid your prior comments were, about who comes from where. Again, wow. Then you said do I have any more brain busters? Dude, your brain is already busted. I should have expected this.

UT doesn't have ONE kid on the Dline half as good as the soph at Houston. He doesn't have a QB on campus half as good as what Houston had last year either.

Is this even a serious post? Or just a post calling me stupid, while offering zero substance??

Did you ever get your ban removed over on your own board Scholz?? I guess that's why you are over here trolling again with your usual rants of pure stupidity.

The same talent that lost to Kansas? Talent doesn't lose to a 2-10 Kansas team. The other team Kansas managed to beat was Rhode Island, a hapless FCS team that managed a 2-9 record. It's going to take Herman a bit to add talent to that **** stain roster. I just hope he doesn't **** the bed like your last returning Texas to days of glory retarded midget coach did.

Texas being a consistent conference bottom dweller is getting old and it drags down the whole conference.

I've been hearing Texas was loaded with talent for several years now. Exactly when does it show up? It's comical that horn fans are turning a blind eye to where their program has been the last bunch of years, and now Herman is the Messiah. There is a lot of repair to do at Texas, and it will take more than a new coach. You Bevo ball lickers need to get a grip.

We heard the same thing with Charlie Strong. I guess in the end winning actually did mean more than #corevalues.

The tired and tedious condemnation of OU for recruiting Texas high school talent is ridiculous. Any player from any state should be able to leave his home state to play college football....And Texas has a population 6-7 times greater than Oklahoma and has argueably the best football talent in the country and OU shouldn't be able to pursue that talent ?

Yeah commit to texas & lose to Kansas & finish 5-7.

texas football has been a mess since 2010. Three head coaches in last 7 years Mack fired Charlie fired & Herman is next.

My friend Medic as usual says it best

Texas now is known nationally as the team most likely to.being "non bowl eligible."

Yeah and OU should have beat a Herman coached Houston team with less talent but we all know how that turned out. Meanwhile OU struggled to beat a so called weak texass team. Herman will do more with more than Strong did.

I am not concerned with it at all...since there will be no Greg Ward that runs a sub 4.4 40 as a QB...continue that game plan with buschelle and the poor kid wont even make it past the 3rd or 4th game alive....and besides even a squirrel finds a nut on occasion....no longer can your prick coach complain about eating hamburgers....hes made his life plans...his coaching days are numbered to 3 years and a 10 to 15 million dollar buyout...he will look great coaching Abilene Christian in 2021 as a multi millionaire eating steak every night thanks to you....

Wasn't it three years ago when texas hired Strong, and he was going to turn texas
into champions, and we see how that worked out. And now you texas
Country Fried's are on a Sooner board running your mouth about all the talent herman
has. The same talent that got their A$$ kicked by KANSAS !!!!
Also what's herman's excuse for losing to Navy, SMU, and Memphis.

I hope you and all the others are right, but just maybe Herman may do much better than we Sooners want. Not enough, but better. Let's be realistic. Texas can't STAY down forever anymore can Oklahoma, so just maybe Herman could be the Horns' answer. It doesn't make any difference to me because I look at it as just another flea to shake off our back. Oklahoma will always out perform f*clking Texas in the long run.

We'll never hear from schultzie under that handle anymore
I will say this...if you are familiar with Scholz's posting style and views on Orangebloods, then he is the poster child for all the libs you see rioting and causing a wave of destruction in their crusade to silence views and opinions they don't agree with. You disagree with Scholz on anything, and it's nothing but vile hatred that is headed your way out of him. I would bet money he is organizing such behavior down in Austin.
