According to rivals, he is committed to Tennessee. If he's solid, then why would he say he's blessed by a UK offer?

He's verbally committed to Tennessee per his Twitter profile. Maybe he's open to considering other offers??
Furthermore, why is it such a big deal that we offered him unless he had mutual interest? UK has offered loads of high-caliber players, but not all of them get such recognition. Him and media guys both commenting on it.
That could explain his tweet about Saban's comment and not sitting the bench. Or something to that effect.

Stoops has perhaps an unprecedented record of developing and placing defensive linemen into The League, many as high draft picks and that will likely continue this year with CJ and hopefully Mel Lewis. That must be a significant selling point for a player like this IMO

At least high level recruits are getting offers and actually getting us some good publicity.
Stoops has placed jucos into the pros at UK. Z killed it this year. Melvin Lewis and CJ will be in someone's camp next year. I think we will see Miggins thrive next season with a spring under his belt.

He isn't a "soft" commit to Tenn but just like in 90% of most HS players, Tenn will have to defend off a few schools. We were his first major offer and as of now I think Tenn is going to get him but you seriously never know about these kids now days. They love to play the game.
Does anyone know who his lead recruiter is here at UK? I looked at his Rivals profile and it doesn't even list UK since they do little updating after a verbal commitment. I am just trying to figure out if it is one of the new staff members responsible for him getting an offer or if it is maybe Brumbaugh
Regardless of whether we get him or not it's good for the Cat's to at least be in the hunt for player's like this. I tend to think given how they are trending up he'll stick with UT, but it's worth the effort to at least take a shot. Hopefully sooner rather than later we start to land a few 5* guys.

agree with this. what i can find says it will be volz followed by washington and then outside chance at bama. our staff has done some good work to even get in the conversation this late
