Without Butler, we are not anywhere near a top 25 team. It's shocking that we won in Knoxville without him. Carr is still not healthy either, as he was a liability on the court against Ole Miss. Give me 9-9 in the SEC, and get those two healthy, and I'll take our chances in the post-season.

The Arkansas loss was and is the shocker. I think many fans, including me, were waiting all season to enjoy the anticipated beat down and proof that Pope for Cal was the greatest logical occurrence. That loss was so bad in a psychological way that the loss to Ole Miss then held more impact. Losing in an away game otherwise might not have caused so much concern. I think we will be decent but have more away losses.

Very well put. I’ll admit I’ve had to talk myself down off the ledge a little bit after the last couple of games. I will say I do think I’m at the point where I wish moving forward he would keep a defensive minded assistant on staff.
