Anyone else watch this mini series on Hulu? James Franco goes back in time to prevent the assassination of JFK. There are a lot of Kentucky storylines to the series. I felt like it could've been done a little better at some points, but overall it was pretty entertaining.

I agree with Nubb. The book was very good. I watched the series in about 3 nights in a marathon. It was pretty good, but it strayed from the book in parts. Overall, as a standalone, I thought it was well worth watching.
Read the book back in 2011-2012 when it first came out. I watched the show all the way through a week or so ago and I have to say that, if you read the book, it is pretty faithful and is a damn good show. That being said, I was amazed that, even despite it's roughly 8 hour running time total, they still had to leave out a bunch of sub plots and other plot points that weren't totally necessary to move the story along. I thought that at 8 hours (which is much longer than the running time of any previous King adaption save for 'Under the Dome' and 'The Dead Zone' which neither followed the storylines of the books much), they'd be able to fit everything in, but they still weren't able to.
All in all it was a great mini-series and is something I hope they do in the future with some other King novels ('Salem's Lot', 'The Stand', and 'It' all need remakes and could stand to have the Hulu treatment too).

I want a dark tower HBO series. Best set of books I ever read. I'm an avid SK reader and nothing touches that story for me. 11\22\63 might be his best stand alone novel though imo

You're damn right she is. She's got that rare and majestic hot girl next door aura. Probably looks vastly more attractive than 99.9% of female celebrities without makeup on too. Actually I'd guarantee it without even having evidence. Some of them look kinda rough once you take off the makeup.
