I feel like Dickinson has the Oscar effect to some degree with Kansas. Great individual player but prevents everyone else from playing the way they should or want to play.

A&M plays some ugly basketball. Not hating on defense, but their offense is basically just a bunch of one-on-one moves and hoping for easy putbacks when whatever they heave up comes off the rim. They’re good enough at rebounding that it keeps them in games, but it’s not great to watch.

I would have loved to see Oscar under Pope. He could shoot a decent 17 foot jumper so he wouldn’t have had to be glued to the post. He rebounded from anywhere anyway. Not to mention he would play zone if it hurt our defense too much.Yeah, and that's a good thing.
