Is this Zavier Simpson's ninth year at Michigan?

By the way, Vic is on press row tonight covering the game tonight. I'm watching from my nice, comfy couch. (Mrs. LouV is out of town on business, so I'm home with LouV Jr.)

Decent crowd so far, 17 minutes before game. The Wilson club area looks reasonably full.
There are currently 17 people sitting in the Wilson club. The real question is will people in the club come down.

My entire section is Michigan. I’m done getting season tickets. Time to buy off the secondary market. I’ll save money and be able to sit with Cats fans.

LOL..

My son wasn't feeling well tonight. The guy I gave my tix to just texted to say they're about the only Cat fans in the section (108).

Turn on the radio broadcast if you can. Fitz is in fine and hilarious form. Already one social media complaint and a joke about Robbie Beran not shaving yet.

Michigan has missed its first TEN shots, including a dunk and a whole lot of bunnies.

Unfortunately, Northwestern didn't really take advantage and have just a 4-0 lead at the under-16 timeout.

Brooks hasn't hit sh*t all year long and now tonight he's making his 3's.

Michigan is on a 10-0 run. The Wolverines are 4-7 on 3s, and Brooks is 3-3. NU is 0-3.

Another bad stretch for Nance. He picked up two fouls in three minutes and Collins had to calm him down on the sideline after the second one (which was a ticky-tack call). He needs to get his head right.

Weak call on Nance, but they were calling things tight. Gotta adjust.

Ryan Young is going to see his minutes drastically reduced if he doesn't play better D than that. That 40 year old for Michigan schooled him twice. Jones will start taking more of his minutes and Nicholson is coming next year.

I want to believe the optimists on this board, but my eyes tell me this is the worst NU team I've seen in a long time. Just not much skill anywhere. So frustrating,.

I wouldn’t say that. There is a ton of skill. There is very little semblance of a team.

This just isn't enjoyable. I'm off to bed. Add Collins to the long list of NU coaches that can't crack the code. Its a nearly impossible job. He came closer than anyone, but this team gets worse every year.

Cats offense seems to be working against itself. Some good opportunities for a wing drive broken up by cutters with no chance for passes just cluttering up the place.

Last game just knocked the air completely out of this team. When Michigan started slow, it looked like they didn’t want to get the big lead as the collapse has become predictable.

Maybe they reverse things in the second half, but this is as bad as they have looked in a long time.

He has hit the wall the last couple weeks. Still think he has been a huge surprise.

Other than Nebraska, Michigan and Nebby are the least aggressive defenses in the conference. And this is when we go cold.

Tough losses are good learning. But they can also wear you down.

Just horrendous offense. Throwing up off-balance shots. Boo has no points and has missed at least three floaters. Nance as usual can't come close to making a shot. Greer tried a shot and didn't even come close. Not sure we really have as much talent as people think.

We need Mohammed Hashad and Vedran.

What are you talking about? Brooks is shooting 39% on 121 attempts this year.

Dude, you're nitpicking an in game thread? Statements made in the heat of frustration? Coming to another school's board to demonstrate you know more about the players of your school than they do?

My kid goes to Michigan so I watch a fair number of their games. Seems like he went through a cold spell for a while in some of their tough losses. It was an anecdotal comment in a game thread.
