Tech leads with 6 plus minutes left in the first, 17-0. Tech's defense is looking better. And OSU might not understand what a trip to Tech can mean.

Horrible call against Tech on an ejection. But it was on a quick receiver screen and the db made a great play on a short receiver. Key play because Tech had them in touch down and distance. And they lost a solid cover guy.

OSU scored two plays later and it's 31-21.

Tech puts 38 on OSU in the first half. Jakeem Grant going nuts. 38-28 Red Raiders.\

NC State's kicker is now 3-9 this year after missing from 44 with under a minute left in the half. Clemson goes the other way to take a 26-20 at the half.

OSU's going to beat Tech. Up by 11 in the 4th and Tech's defense is wet paper.

I'd like nothing better...(well, having me the meat in a Jennifer Aniston, Kate Upton sandwich would be better)

than to have the uppity Cowpies undefeated when we play them this year...those are the times I live for.

He's an interesting question. Should OU fans be pulling for Texas? If they win out except for the big four, does it make OUr loss more sellable of the Sooners run the table?

I know it's hard for me, even when it might help us.

I agree and if OU does what it has to do Texas' final record and OU's loss will not matter, so let's go cyclones :)

No. If the Sooners take care of business, the Texas game won't be an issue IMO. It's not like UT beat us as badly as WVU did in the bowl game when we were favored around the same number.

Minnesota leads Michigan 16-14 at half............

Somehow, firing the OC made Iowa State's defense better. ISU leads the Horns 17-0 very late 3rd quarter. And moving again. At the end of the third quarter, Texas has 119 yards total offense.

Temple lee ND in the Eagle's stadium in Philly10-7, but ND just ran zone read for 70 plus on third and 1 and with 4:51 left in the half, regained the lead 14-10. Temple is a lot smaller. But their inside linebacker is playing his butt off.

Philadelphia is a very Catholic town, so Temple's home advantage ain't much.

Wolverines led early, but now trail Minnesota 23-21 punting with two minutes left in the third.

ND leads Temple at the half, 14-10.

Cyclones still lead 17-0 with ten minutes left. Paul Rhodes is trying to save his job.

Eleven minutes left, Minnesota lead over Michigan just increased to 26-21. 3 and out for Michigan, playing a back up quarterback. Gopher ball with ten minutes left.

Houston is blowing out the SEC's worst team 34-0. Memphis struggled early but leads Tulane now 38-14,

UTenn blowing out the other Stoops brother, 38-14 mid 3rd.

\Miami leads Duke by 12 with six minutes left.

And ISU about to put it away. 17-0, 2:14 left and their ball on the Horns' one yard line. 3rd down.

Five minutes left, and Temple receivers keep dropping crucial passes. But they make a 37 yard FG to go up on Notre Dame 20-17. Maybe the big three in the American Conference are pretty good. Houston shut out the SEC opponent tonight.

Michigan and Minnesota had the second strangest win of the night. Michigan scored with four minutes left. They made the two-point converstion to go up 3. Minnesota took all the time and with 19 seconds left had a wheel route called a touchdown, but it was overturned on replay. They had one TO left.

Minnesota was playing for their first game HC after Jerry Kill resigned earlier in the week. He didn't realize that the clock would resume after the replay time out from the half yard line. The called a double shifiting pre snap play, which took more time to snap than the play itself. The incomplete throwback left 2 seconds to play. Forgoing the field goal, they took their TO and ran a sneak which Michigan stuffed. Wolverines win by 3.

Strangest game was Dukes come from behind to score with 06 left. On the seven lateral Miam return, there appeared to be a knee down before one lateral, and a late block in the back. Neither were called. The official came on and said that during the return, there was a block in the back, but then it was overturned somehow. And the man down wasn't called. So Miami won for their first game coach.

Meanwhile, ND scored to go up 24-20 with two minutes left. Temples quarterback is pretty good. But his guys don't catch the ball on crucial plays.

A 15 yard penalty gives Temple a 3rd and 17 and they throw a pic on the next snap. Domers will win.

Mets trail KC 5-3 with the tying run on first and one out B9. Cespides at bat.

Post edit: remember when you coached eight year olds and you told them to make sure they let a line drive go through. Cespides, who singled to five the Mets two on and one out, didn't and is doubled off first on a softie liner. The Royals are now one game away.

OH yeah, and Washington State is hosting Stanford, whom ever talking head is telling us is the best one loss team in America if Alabama isn't.

Maybe not. 6-3 Cougars. But Stanford is getting a lot of, uh, breaks.

If I am looking at it right Bama is really behind 2 teams in their division even though they are currently in 2nd place; Ole Miss and LSU control their own destiny

It's now 12-3 Cougars against Stanford, or more accurately four field goals to one. They're playing in heavy wind with some driving rain much of the time. You'd think that the throw it every down team would struggle more in that. But Stanford hasn't blocked them much. We'll see how Shaw fixes things the second half.

Interception for short field and Stanford takes a 27-22 lead. The bogus missing of when Stanford's "Heisman candidate" running back went Stanford's way in the replay booth, as did the earlier call coming from kind of the opposite direction. As did the late first half throw a guy to the ground five yards out of bounds no call.

The officials in the Pac Ten are as corrupt as ever.

But if you hate Miami like most of us do, when you watch their eight lateral end of the game touchdown on which there were three blatant blocks in back, including one on the Miami ten to start the play. Duke will be madder than most of us are watching when they get all of the calls in the NCAA tournament.

Not at all, K2C. The rain seems to have stopped. But WSU's problem is the same one that Leach's teams have always had. They stink inside the 10. They have five field goals and one TD.

But they got this one. And they'll go for two and are short. So for the seventh time, they don't get seven.

28-27 Cougars about seven minutes left.

Is there an uglier team logo than the wsu stylized "cougar" ? (besides a hawkeye of course) I'm glad that we have the simple traditional look. Screw the special unis, whatever...

I agree about the special uni's especially everybody in black. But I think the Cougar symbol, which also spells WSU, is kind of clever.

Or maybe just WS?

Big play by the rookie corner. Then another set of big plays by WSU's defense to hold them to three. 1:54 to play. 30-28 Stanford. One TO left for the Coungars.

They convert fourth and seven. :04 left. 46 yard FG try to win it for WSU
