1. Why can't you follow a very, very simple one?
2. Why do you get so indignant about it when you get called on it?

First off, I don't want to listen to your shoes when you walk. No flip flops means no flip flops. I'm tired of listening to your shoes when you walk. You don't have the right to wear sandals just because you want to. Also, I don't care what anyone calls them. Pants that come down to your knees are not pants, they are shorts. I have shorts that are the exact same length as what some of you wear calling them "pants."

Thanks for listening.

the sooner you cats get hip to the fact that broads get to do whatever they want, the better. that’s why we get paid more for the same work. let em wear their skorts to work. i like a bare pair of gams showing when the chicks walk by. you should too unless you’re a gay.

Are you upset that they won't adhere to the dress code or that they're uggos?
That they ***** about it. Let me explain. If there is nothing attaching your shoe to the heel of your foot than it's a sandal and isn't allowed. If what piece of apparel coming down from your waist doesn't go down to your ankles than it isn't allowed. It doesn't matter what you call it. If you don't understand that, you should be sent home to change. If it happens twice, you should be sent home to stay.
Or just don't have a dress code.

If it means this much to you, call managements bluff. Shorts and flops on when you go in tomorrow. Better hope that one of the gals dresses the wrong way too, though. Are you prepared to sacrifice yourself for what is right?

Or just do your job.

Sounds like working with a bunch of women is turning you into one. I couldn’t tell you what any of my co workers wear because I dont care.

And I honestly have no clue what the dress code is because I dress well enough every day that it doesn’t matter.

See my earlier post about going into accounting.

Friday before the 4th of July weekend and your bitching about shorts and flops? Hell, just be glad they showed up. Half of my coworkers called in sick or went on vacation. Would have loved to had a fatty in shorts and flops helping me out.

Why not just make them wear an Arab-style shawl while you're at it?

Glenn would have a stroke if he showed up to my place of work. Work in an athletic department, so we just dress however the **** we want most days. I've been known a time or two to just go to work dressed in whatever I was wearing when I went to bed the previous night [laughing]

I agree with Glenn. If your company has a dress code, either enforce it or don’t have one. I’m a maverick now (non supervisor), but when I was one, I was required to be in shirt and tie DAILY. Women on my level could wear damn near anything short of Daisy Dukes and spaghetti strap tops. We guys never bitched about it...rules are rules.

I will spare your retinas. I can say that I can take 8 out of 10 female coworkers and either their brassiere is showing thru their blouse/dress or their panties are exposed at some point during the workday (don’t think happiness, I’m talking granny panties here).

Saving grace? Student nurses. They wear white and they do the scut work. By the end of a shift, you actually get bored with seeing buttcracks...hospital scrubs just aren’t designed for curvy women!
