On Sept 17, 2016, UofL hosted its first college game day prior to the game with FSU. Then proceeded to jump into the playoff picture with an epic beat down of the Noles.

LOL. I remember that day very well. The wife and I were headed to the coast for a weekend of fun in the sun, and I was trying to avoid any and all media so I could watch the game when I got back home.
One serious problem with that plan. I forgot I had on a UofL hat, and I stopped to get gas, and some guy saw it and screamed at me "Your team is kicking the ever living crap out of the Noles!!" I just nodded my head and stared at him with a look of ''WHY?"
