Basically. I'm watching the Holiday Bowl to cheer myself up.
It was either that or some riff on "they sposed to be SEC!!"

they don't drug test.. or at least dont hold players accountable for failed test, they give out 3rd most money for the coa, their "student" athletes take most online courses that almost guarantee a passing grade with little effort, and im pretty sure the football program taught the basketball program about hookers so theres that.
Kentucky fans making excuses gets old. The "coa" doesn't matter yet. We can say they cheat. But we cheated and got caught. I'm just embarrassed that UL beats SEC teams in bowls all the time and we can't beat them during the season and get in a bowl. All fans that just make fun of UL's bowl wins need to re-evaluate their fandom. We really need to get to where our rival is. I have to deal with all of the UL fans that I told UL couldn't play in the SEC. All they do is beat SEC teams in bowl games. I'm getting tired of it. We have to get better. Let's go Cats. We've got to get better.
i agree about us not doing what we need to do and that's on us. but they do run a loser ship than most programs and that is a fact. i live in louisville and have family that go to school there and even they admit "just win baby". i would like to find the happy medium where we are winning and not a danger to the general public and actually educating the kids to some degree. if wisconsin and vandy can have 10 win seasons then there is no reason we cant.
Man, I just watched UofL beat an SEC team in a bowl game on national TV. The TV commentators didn't report a single word of what you wrote. They also didn't mention UK or how they're improving their stats and stadium and have a new OC and QBC. Nope, they just talked about UofL and Pitrino and that excellent QB. That's what happens when you're a winner. We're far, far behind in that category. Don't talk about drugs and hookers, and the failures of UofL. Goto line 1.
After supporting this program for over half a century I have no interest in moral victories. I never see fans at bowl games hanging their heads because they won with guys who weren't the best citizens. Screw it I want to get to a decent bowl. We were too good to hire Petrino (given he is a sleaze) and now UL is building with great young talent and recruiting like crazy when we are struggling after 6 awful seasons and basically stalled hoping that changing coordinators will prevent the familiar collapse. When is our turn?

No, they don't, and, as a matter of fact, they are .500 against UK all time, and their overall record against the SEC is utterly atrocious. It's a joke and some of the margins of many of the scores are even a bigger joke.
I will give their despicable fanbase some credit, though; unlike a large portion of our own fanbase (you, especially, assuming that you ARE a part of the fanbase and not a UofLoL fan), they don't slobber over their arch-rival, not even in a sport where we dominate and own them. It's amazing how the Tards get more defense from UK fans on this board than they do from their own fans.
I talk to a neighbor occasionally who is a HUGE Otis fan and close friends with an ex Otis player and he told me that even though he is a BIG fan that they are the most cheating school in the country and laughed about it...says they run a tight ship on things there

How many people really think that hurtt needed a $5,000 gift (it wasn't a loan until the heat turned up, and it was probably replaced with cash as soon as hurtt paid it back) to pay his electric bill, wasn't he the NROTY at the U also? How many $100 handshakes is that, and how much money does jurich throw at the sports programs, $5,000 is a drop in the bucket, see the $500,000 bonus to BP for nothing. How hard is it to trace $100 handshakes?
Yeah, hurtt was on the straight and narrow at UL, I can see how he won the NROTY at a school convicted of some of the most outrageous cheating in history while he was there, PLUS in the middle of all that talent and the beaches and bikinis, do you think the Ohio River beaches compare to that, and aren't the fish from there not edible?
Just win baby, and all the UL fans look the other way and laugh.
I wouldn't put anything past jurich and his motley crew.
If you want to count those wins when UofL was basically a club team back in the teens and 20's that is your right. However in the modern era UofL is 14-8 vs UK, 17-25-1 vs the SEC since 1941 and 3-1 vs the SEC in Bowl games.
