I just got a letter from UK thanking me for renewing my tickets for 2016 season. In this letter it also told me that all Parking lots assignments will stay the same for this year but in 2017 Parking Lot assignments will redone. I assume this is being done because of the Loss of the last of the grass Purple Lot for the start of construction of the new baseball stadium. I hope I have enough K-Fund points and MONEY to keep my Orange Lot pass for 2017.

Tell me how many points you have and I will give you my best guess based on mine and a few other people who I know that are borderline.

I have 151 pts
I have 140 and was in the Orange lot 2 years ago. I got booted to the silver last year and this year. We know the cut off is somewhere in that 11 point range. Could be 141 or it could be 150. There are probably thousands of ticket holders in between us. Demand will go down a little with the K-find requirement but it could go way up if we win 7 or 8 games this year. I would buy some softball, baseball and volleyball tickets to hedge my bet. You can also contribute to the 110% club. All that will give you 20 points for about $250 plus you get a t-shirt and tickets to give to your friends to all the secondary sports. lol

I was wrong about my points. I had just grabbed an older ticket form that showed my points and did not look at date. I went to UK site and i have 261 points. So hopefuly that keep me in the Orange when reassignment occurs

Seemed to me to be much more subdued, but with me having two little kids now it's kind of nice. Some secluded areas to set up near some buildings if you get there early enough. Also can get out relatively quickly onto Nicholasville. Just my thoughts...

You could do like I did, and tell them no thanks, adding KFund requirement to parking did me in, not spending any more on football..

This is the last post on the first page, and while I have seldom gone to the second page to read a thread I suppose I will to see the latest on the Vol fiasco-----it will be buried there way too soon IMO. I have now read every current post on the first page and commented on a lot of them, the only one I haven't read is about the food, the last thing I think of when going to a game, Easy to stuff a couple hot dogs in your pocket and save $5, harder to get away with a bottle I would guess, never tried it.

I have seldom gone to the second page to find a thread but I will to see about the Vol thread, absurd to me that I could have caught up with every post on the front page (while commenting on several of them) and I firmly believe that changing the order so that pertinent posts aren't brought back up to the top has a LOT to do with killing the comments on here.

And I will bet very few will read this post, next post puts it on the second page and pretty much buried.

You make a valid point jauk11... I preferred the other format as it made sense that posts that were alive with comment rotated to the top while subject matter that had lost interest, faded to the bottom....

Regarding "parking" ... Don't know how to word this right? Used to be the longer you were a STH (season ticket holder), it impacted the quality of your seat and the ability to get into surface lot parking... With the K-Fund the process began where time as a fan began to be less important and money more significant... The pricing structure at CWS & Parking lots favors the monied elite, and hard core fan.... Guess what I mean to say is that the game experience under the oversight of Mitch Barnhart has become less egalitarian... That is my opinion.
Time as a fan has become less important than money in your pocket... I'm not making comment on whether this is good or bad but if one accepts the premiss this is true, then one can opine that there might be consequences because of it....

I have an opinion of how this works out and it is directly related to winning and how much winning.... Anyone that has been around UK football knows that winning hasn't been a variable in the programs success since the 50's... So what I see going on now is what I'd call a paradigm shift. I don't know if it's good or bad... I just know it's different... But will it be successfully different..............????
