just what makes everyone say it is soooo brutal? There are plenty of cake walks for a good coaching staff.

With a real coach? All those games.

You have seen our talent, correct? I’m sure some blue chippers will play next year knowing you have a shot to squeak out wins against Ark st, Purdue, and almost NW. 4 and 5 Stars come on down.

I haven't seen our talent because it isn't being maximized. I've only seen what MR and crew can produce. There is no way you can put the lack of success on the players and I don't care who recruited them.

Schedule is not the principal problem for 2018 — and neither is the defense.

Charlie McBride defended the firing of Frank Solich nearly fifteen years saying it was inexcusable what had become of the Pipeline. Nearly 15 years later and we still have a horrible offensive line. While we have had some success up front on defense, namely the Suh years, the oline has been mostly awful the entire 15 years.

I have heard the same story through the several coaching changes: It’s on the coaching; we have talent. Isn’t it about time to acknowledge our talent —and our coaching — has been horrible for those nearly 15 years? Whoever is our next coach had better finally get the oline fixed or we will see many more days like today when we lost a game that probably would have been won if we could have run the ball when we were up 7 in the fourth quarter. I just got home from the ASU game and they looked like NU pre-2003. They took the lead in the fourth quarter vs CU and then ran the ball down their throat to close out the win. Similar to our game except when we were in the same position we have Lee throwing balls up for grabs because the oline couldn’t move your grandmother.

Unless NU hits the a homerun with the HC hire, next year will probably be a 2-3 win type of year. There's a greater chance that we see a winless NU team than one that goes bowling.
