Why not? UNC wasn't going to make the tournament. Kansas and Duke had already announced they were not participating, no matter what. UahKay was ready to play, but nobody else wanted to play.

I have teased almost every Yut fan I know about when they were getting their NC t-shirt. At least two have said, "Hmmmm, I never thought about that."
Stay safe. I pray we all get through this together. I've been shut down at work until at least 4/6. There are several Card games on YouTube to revisit, plenty of books around the house to re-read, the cupboard is well stocked and I have ammunition. A Country Boy Can Survive!

After the Tournament is canceled:
Cal....“I think I had the National Championship team”.

I mean to play Devil’s Advocate as I always do, if Coach Mack said he didn’t believe he had a championship team we wouldn’t be happy.
That’s why I loved Rick, he always backed the guys up and believed they’d win every game and every title. If you aren’t confident your team can win a title, you shouldn’t be in coaching.
Nobody is advocating for a coach saying he doesn’t believe he has a championship team. We’re talking about completely different things.
Saying your confident in your team winning before or during the tournament is one thing but declaring after the tournament has been canceled that you think you had the Championship team is soooo Calipari.
No chance of another disappointing finish with an uber-talented team for Coach Cal. Meanwhile he can sell the tubes on their make believe 2020 Title.

I think him saying I have "THE" national championship team is a little diff than saying you have a championship contender, or a championship team

I was thinking the Nets maybe prior to the sporting death by Corona. Now is the NCAA going to be too busy with Corona issues or are they going to have all eyes on cleaning up the real dirt in college sports, including themselves?
