2022 College Basketball - Likely Fewer or No 1 and Dones

Seems a ways away, but college programs now need to build that assumption into their recruiting plans since prospects that are now entering their freshman year in high-school will be able to enter the NBA Draft straight out of high-school.

I think the change will be good for all but a handful of college programs. The linked article has good info about it.

Sorry didn’t read the article but I don’t think it prevents a kid from leaving after one year or two, so the term one and done could still apply, just not in the same context. It’s not like baseball where if a kid doesn’t go pro, he’s committed for at least 2 years.

I was being figurative. I meant to say, elite level lottery type talent (and those that think they are) will bypass college.
