I'm setting this up in advance, so that everyone has the details.

Please use the thread for all pre-match, in-match, and post-match discussion for the 2023 Army Black Knight Invite, and PSU's performance in such.

I'm out for PBP, as I'm setting this up in a hotel room, and will be traveling most of Sunday. Hopefully, many of you can step up and provide some coverage. As I always remind folks, posts are more helpful if they include the names of the wrestlers, scores, etc. Posts like "what a TD" provide more confusion than anything else, especially for a tournament that is not being televised.

Steen and Howard will meet in QF if both win first round match. Davis on other side of bracket.

Penn State on opposite side of brackets and wouldn't meet until finals at 133. Beau, Evans, Kasak all have a first round bye at 141.

I didn't realize this was such a poorly attended event until Greg posted the brackets. Seems like it would be a great chance to have an early season tune-up

Anyone else having trouble getting Byers? I’m just hearing music

Can't hear on gopsusports which isn't a surprise. 97.7 out of SC has Byers. I use simple radio to get it because I am a simple guy.

Davis TF to start, a guy who he TF last week. Steen cruising, Howard battling Gardener Webb, wins 6-4.

Byers is going to be busy today cause we can have a ton of guys wrestling at one time.

133 results: Shunk lost 16-11. Nagao wins his PSU debut by technical fall, 15-0, at 3:40 mark.

Shunk gave up a 7 point throw very early and simply could not recover. It it down to 3 but then gave up a TD.

Nagao and his opponent had what sounded like a great scramble to start, so we need to look for that video at some point.

No controversy. At this point Howard does not look like the starter. Something obviously is missing from the Howard of a couple years ago.
