Not too hot for Fisher and Tucker. Both have plenty of insulation, Fisher $77mm worth and tucker $66.5mm.

Hate to say it but I think Pry has to show some positive direction at VT.

Why do you hate to say it? If vo tech fires him, it paves the way for him to come back to PSU as DC next season after Diaz (and his perfect hair) leaves.

I'll give you Jimbo Fisher, Neal Brown, and Tom Allen. I'd give you Tucker except for how much it would cost MSU if they parted ways with him. The rest of the coaches you listed are not, IMHO, on the hot seat.

EDIT: Upon reflection, I'd include Wilcox on the list

Interesting thing about Tucker is, that when I last looked, Matt Ishbia hadn't entirely fulfilled his pledge to MSU.

So….Dabo got to his office this morning and noticed some kindling under his chair. A canister of lighter fluid and a blow torch were nearby.

Probably just a coincidence.

Eh, two NC's in the last seven years. His seat isn't hot. But, if he keeps refusing to adapt to the current state of college football (and he's really gonna hate it when players are actually just paid by schools/conferences), he can finally fulfill his promise to leave on his own. Otherwise he'll get booted to the moon.

Lost 3 of the last 4. No team has lost the season opener and made the playoff.

Clemson deserves better.

This is how insane college football coaching contracts are (from Joel Klatt):

“I still can’t believe that Jimbo Fisher has the contract he has,” said Klatt. “If he coaches for three more years? They would still owe him $58.2 million. What are we doing? They could wait until 2030 and still have to pay him $10 million to not coach. Staggering.”

How is Franklin on the hot seat?

Nebraska fans wanted a coach fired because they felt like he couldent get over that 9- 3 hump.

Check out how thats working out for them.

Penn State has been the only team in the North East that had come remotely close with competing with the big boys.

More and more top recruits wanna play where its warm or cool. Franklin has built what he has and now if they can catch up in NIL he can be even closer to an even playing field.

There is alot of schools who would spend alot of money to get Franklin and his results the last ten years.

Babers out at Cuse. Already heard one report that Diaz as a candidate.
Other names include Sean Lewis Al Golden and Bill O’Brien.

I still expect Allen will be out at IU
I think Kelly might be safe but the honeymoon is over at USC for Lincoln Riley.
Neal Brown should be safe.

This didn’t age very well. Am I the only one that feels like the beginning of the season was years ago? At the time, this statement made sense, now they both are gone for very different reasons.

FWIW, I have heard the name Jason Candle (HC at Toledo) as the leader in the clubhosue for MSU. His buy out is pittance.
