I had believed this thread had already been created but apparently not.

Freaking Liverpool, another added time win. Atletico Madrid. Opening matches were yesterday.

Yeah, Liverpool having some good luck right now. That said, the game shouldn't have been that close according to XG.

Easy choice, #4.

#4 had the best sequence of passes to set it up. But if I focus on the shot/goal, I thought #4 was the least impressive.

I'd probably go with #1 as the best shot/goal. #2 was also an excellent goal, though the shot was at the GK -- just so hard that it went over his head before he could react.

Easy choice for me. I appreciate the elaborate set-ups more than anything else. It’s a little hard for me to watch Arsenal this year, they are so reliant on set pieces.

@LionJim, just look at some of these passes, which were assists on goals. Guys could play their entire career and not make passes as good as some of these. smh
