Once again, it's time for the 2025 THON.

Please use this thread for all discussions of the 2025 THON.

If you'd like to be truly participate, then please consider donating. There are 3 ways to do so:

1. Donate, and also have your donation be credited to an organization (a frat, a sorority, other PSU organizations, etc.). All organizations that participate each year are in a competition against other like organizations. In addition, the number of dancers that each organization gets each year is predicated upon how much that organization raised in the prior THON. Click on the following link, and scroll through the find the organization you'd like your donation to also be credited to. And if you don't have an organization, as a favor to me, please consider having it credited to either Lambda Chi Alpha or Pi Beta Phi (listed as Pi Beta Phi Pi Phi).

2. Donate, and also have your donation be credited to an individual.

3. Donate, and not have your donation be credited to any organization or individual.

THON is one of the more amazing things that PSU students, alums, fans, etc. do each year. And the thread that follows it on this board is also usually one of the best threads of the year. I'll try to post some stuff in this thread, though there are big chunks of the weekend when I have other things on my schedule.

Lastly, you should be able to watch a livestream of THON at:

You don’t have to go to the liar to have people post sh*t about THON. You can get that right here. There’s a few with conspiracy theories about THON who frequent here.

It might be best to leave it there and not bring it here. Who gives a **** what they think about anything?

FTK! One of my daughters is part of THON this year and I was involved back in my day. The experience is life changing. Went to see my daughter yesterday and we both shared common tears of the experience. THON is what Penn State is at its core if we don’t lose that vision.

I never spent as much time as I did this past weekend at THON. Our daughter was selected to be a dancer by her org this year. My better half and I were able to get floor passes to help support her and her teammates and any other kid that needed it. There is so much good in that building it is overwhelming at times. It never really sunk in what "entirely student run" meant until I was able to spend that much time there just taking it all in. From students handling checking people in and security, changing/emptying trash cans and taking it out, making food and keeping everyone fed and hydrated, cleaning the bathrooms, cleaning the dance floor, managing the logistics for the families, every little thing that needed to be done was done by a student. Granted I did see some BJC staff but they were just there in case students needed some assistance. Then talking to the some of the families and the millions and millions and millions of dollars in medical expenses(and support expenses like travel and lodging while helping their kids fight the battle) that Four Diamonds covers. WOW JUST WOW!!
