2026 Maui Invitational?

I noticed only 7 teams are currently being listed for the 2026 Maui Invitational. Any chance Kentucky will get the eighth spot?

Ole Miss is already representing the SEC in it so I don't believe so. Plus they already have a repeat in the Big 12 between Zona and BYU (the teams signed on to play in it when they were still in different conferences).

Pope said 100% no way UK can go to events right now. Something with having to have 20 games in Rupp or something like that. I do not expect UK will be in Maui for a few more years.
