It's going to be December 12-13. I could see this taking the place of some of PSU's normal out of conference duals.

If the argument is that this is a national event to determine the best dual team, be like the existing national event and rotate the location! Maybe DT can get behind this change!
Mid November event diluted CKLV this year. Mid December will probably dilute CKLV and the other Christmas opens —- Midlands, Soldier Salute, Southern Scuffle.

How they select the top 4 teams next year will be interesting... seems like this year it was preseason ranking based on returning NCAA points.
Next year will allow freshman to make more of an impact for seeding. I expect the team rankings will be PSU (probably not going), Okie State (Forrest plus Raneys), Ohio State, Cornell (if they wrestle before 2nd semester --- Knox, Cortezes, Shapiro, Perentin, Ruiz, Dellagatta, Correa), Nebraska, Virginia Tech (Ventresca, Seidel, Henson, Bassett, Burton, Mullen) and then Iowa. Iowa will need a lot of transfer help to get into the top 4.
