That is a depressing stat.

This team is so dependent on the 3 pt shot because we don't have the athletes to defend or get easy baskets against most decent opponents.

The FT misses are also a concern. We need to score in multiple ways to be successful.

Butler needs to play more under control because without him on the floor, we become even more vulnerable on both ends.

Coach Pope needs to run more screens for Brea and stopped allowing our Bigs to back defenders down from the top of the key.

I do have confidence in Coach Pope to figure out how to get more scoring opportunities and the right kids shooting 3's.

We have one elite catch and shoot guy : Brea. Everyone else is just average from 3. Unfortunately no one on the team can create its own shot like Rob Dilly or Monk or Murray. That one player supposed to be Robinson but his handle is suspect to say the least.

So we are depending on running plays to get our guys open to shoot 3s… or getting shots in transition or via offensive rebounds but that means we should run a transition and rebo7nd the ball….which we don’t do consistently….

As other teams get more tape of Uk plays, the ability to run plays to get our guys open will decrease… sure Pope can make adjustments and tweaks but those will be also read in the next game,

This year we don’t have the high profile players so it’s normal to be on this trend.

The word is out... play crazy physical on us. The last 3 teams we've played have mucked up the game and this is what we're left watching. Pope's got his work cut out for him.

Not just that but play way off our 5. That ends all the pressure relief back doors we get.

I love the concept of the 5 being a playmaker but this is the downside when they can't shoot at all.

their game plan was to chase us off the 3 and then body blow us inside so its hard to drive and hit inside shots. Refs were ACC refs and did call the fouls. ACC put their key #1 fixer ref on our game for a reason. I think its possible the bad 3pt shooting could be because the team didnt practice a ton due to it being thanksgiving, all the distractions. If our shooting doesnt improve through december when we have a ton of practice time, then I'll be worried for the future.

The last three games.

26.8 percent.

This team is average if they aren’t shooting it like they’re supposed to be.
Just not hitting right now. It will turn around. Pope said we aren’t trusting the system and I think that is evident in those numbers the last couple games.

As great of a 3 point shooter Brea is, he really needs to work on getting open for shots. I know he's constantly being guarded, but if he can't shake his defender and create just enough space he seems to give up offensively.

I hope the three-point shooting over the last few games is a temporary thing rather than a sign of who we actually are. We have several guys who over their careers have shot in the mid-thirties or above, so I'm hoping it balances out.

I don't think any team is going to be very good shooting that many threes and making that percentage. Luckily, we do have good shooters and those numbers mean nothing going forward.
