I don't think we are either but I do think we have to be very, very close. #29, 28, 27, or 26. We're right there at it.

4 of our remaining 5 opponents are in the AP Top 25. Let's run the table and see where in the Top 25 we land. If we do and win our bowl, we will land in the Top 15.

By the way, our defense is now ranked #16 in the nation. Great job by Clayton White. He was nominated for the Broyles Award as the top assistant in the nation a couple of years ago. He interviewed for the HC job at UNC-Charlotte around that time. I suspect he will be gone after this season. Beamer made good hires @ Special Teams Coordinator (Lembo who was nominated for the Broyles Award after the 2022 season) and Defensive Coordinator. Our offense is ranked @102. It's puzzling why Beamer is able to make good hires at ST and DC but not OC. If we had a good offense, we might be in the Top 10, maybe even 5. smh
