This seems like a big one. Commanders only gave up a fifth round pick by the looks of things. Seems like a no brainer for teams looking for WR help. Looking at you Omar Khan.

Seriously, why wouldn’t the Steelers make that deal?

My wish list for Omar Khan: (feel free to add if you would like)

1) Sign Fields. He’s younger and cheaper than Wilson and has more upside, even if he is a temporary stop gap until they draft someone.
2) Sign the free agent DT from the Eagles. The guy is a handful and they haven’t addressed Heyward’s replacement yet. Williams and Benton could be a good combo. Williams is only 25 years old and appears more than capable of starting now.
3) Draft Emeka Egbuka. No explanation needed.
4) Find a way to get Jaxson Dart in the draft.
5) Let a few guys walk including Harris. I like him, but he is not the back they thought they were getting in the first round.
6) It’s time to invest more money and draft capital in the offense. The game has changed. You can’t win without an explosive offense, while depending on your defense and kicker every week.

there's a reason he went for a 5th. the question is, can he run any more?
BTW Williams resigns w the Iggles

He’s worth a shot and he’s a seasoned vet to possibly mentor Pickens. Pickens has all the physical tools to be the best WR in the league, IF he decides to mature and take the game seriously. We’ll see about Williams. Money talks and many teams have a lot more cap space than the Eagles, including the Steelers.

Omar seems to look for reasons not to make moves instead of seeing the need to make moves. It appears the Steelers are stuck in mud.

As a 49ers fan, good riddance. The only downfall is they didn't do this last year. Now, do the same with Aiyuk. Primadonna who got paid. Locker room cancer.

Anyone remember when Samuel choked Jake Moody this past season on the sideline? Not that I didn't want to do the same, but I'm not on the team. Imagine that for a second, choking another teammate on live TV? What a circus this team was last season.

Then I retract my statement. Good luck LionJim. 🤣

You’re right about Aiyuk. He did absolutely nothing this year after getting a fat raise.

My Niner fan friends agree with Alphabets. Samuel is past it. He can still produce in spurts but isn’t a slam dunk star contributor.

But for a 5th, the Skins had to take a flier. The real problem is taking over Deebo’s contract. They still have a lot of cap space, but these moves add up fast.

True, but Deebo doesn’t have to be the #1. They have scary Terry for that and I highly don’t the Commanders will line him up at RB like Shanahan did. That takes a toll. You are right about the cap space.

Pickens is a classic example of a million dollar talent with a ten cent head. He will never change. The guy is a POS.

Smart teams buy low and sell high

Dumb ones chase big names and it rarely works out

The 49ers ain't dumb
They chased Garroppalo and Chase Young. And the Eagles seemed to make out ok chasing AJ Brown, Slay, CGJ, and Barkley.

True. But for that kind of $$$, they need reliable production. They’re trying to emulate the Eagles model, but they need dominant line play. Letting Allen walk won’t help.

Agree, but they turned things around VERY quickly and Daniels looks like the real deal. I doubt they let Allen walk without having a plan. Now, if Allen wants to come to Pittsburgh……

They've had a plan since last year's draft with Newton...Allen was arguably their 3rd best DT this year, so I doubt he's back at his price tag.

I think you need to do some research on Deebo's contract

Deebo will cost Washington $17.5M in 2025. That’s not top WR money, but it’s still significant.

The good news is Deebo is a UFA after 2025 if Washington wants out. He may be motivated to play well in a contract year.

The bad news is that Deebo is a known locker room problem when he isn’t happy. I see this a high risk moderate reward trade. Their hand may have been forced once it became clear that Cincy would tag Higgins again.

It's really not. He's gonna be about the 30th highest paid WR in the league on a one year deal on a team that has a ton of cap space.

Haha you guys are so dramatic. He's a dude that hates losing, just like AJ Brown

Heard they backed off him for some reason. Thinking they are taking a receiver in the first round.

That was the evaluation of him when they took him. They hoped that his 10 cent head would be at least a quarter by now.

Just like AJ....only difference being that AJ reads books on the sidelines while Deebo chokes his teammates. More like hands around the throat and not full on choking, but who's counting?

More drama queens. He shoved the facemask of a guy wearing a helmet. Everyone will be ok

Trade/cut Minkah, Larry O, Holcomb and Patterson to start.

This "cancer" spent 4 years at one high school, 4 years at one college, and his entire 6 year NFL career with one team (including the contract extension). I never remember hearing anything negative about him until late last season. Is this all based off of the one incident last season, and then his desire to seek a trade?

But the Eagles have Howie Roseman, best GM and capologist in the NFL.
