I don't like it. NCAA tournament used to be filled with all sorts of conferences. Need some Meac, Sun Belt, CUSA, Big Sky representation. We're losing some character in the sport.

I saw that all the top 4 seeds advanced. So of the 32 teams left 16 are top 4 seeds.


That doesn’t happen often.

A few upsets. But this tournament is pretty much chalk to this point.

Sort of lost in that framing, SEC was 8-6, Big 10 was 8-0.
We're not done judging conferences yet.
But I do think it was silly putting 19-14, Texas and not much better oklahoma in.

It would be disappointing if 6 of them don’t advance to next weekend. The only decided underdog is Arkansas.

But I do think it was silly putting 19-14, Texas and not much better oklahoma in.

I think the SEC has done what it was supposed to do in the given matchups. Plus, 4 of the losses could have gone either way at the end.

Missouri was the only SEC team to lose from the top 9 SEC tournament seeds.

7,10,11,12,13,14 all lost

BIG10 crushed it in the first round. Purdue currently taking it to McNeese. Will be interesting to see if that holds.

Then last year it looked like it was back to normal with the Big East, Big Ten, SEC, and ACC making the Final Four.

This year looks like it will be P5 dominant again, once we get deeper in the tournament.

2023 was an anomaly, it seems.

Nil era probably keeps it mostly power five. Smaller budget teams aren't going to keep their best players or get the best recruits. 2023 definitely will be rare

7,10,11,12,13,14 all lost

Of the SEC's six losses, five of them were close games. Georgia got smoked by a Gonzaga team who looks like a 1 seed right now.
