I will definitely be miserable until UK has sustained its position as the greatest program of all time. I’ll let my wife watch for “go team”. I’ve been doing this too long and have too much invested in the future of Kentucky basketball. It’s my Alma mater with deep family ties. Also I have two kids 8 and 11 who have not seen UK elite. I’d like them to see that.

Enjoy winning a game is fine. When we take it beyond that to Indiana levels is where my issue comes in. We shouldn’t even care the next day and be focused on when our next final four is coming.

Hopfully Pope is like that. Winning mindsets for coaches should be focused on why he keeps getting his *** kicked in the first half not the win. Otherwise we’re going to lose a lot of those.

To me there’s a standard and a difference in enjoying the win and taking it way too far when you’re the Yankees of college basketball.
