I am happy to see Lee get healthy again. He was a good alternative of a different style of running compared to the two freshman when he was healthy. He seemed to be a stabilizing influence in the backfield at the beginning of the season.
Definitely want to see Lee be able to play and do well. We need that solid 3rd RB. Did P.J. Mustipher indicate if he is going to play?
Although Brown and Strange are playing I expect they will play limited reps which makes sense. Start them and use them in key situations.
Yeah, I hope Lee comes back next year too and doesn't portal. He is a good solid back in his own rights and (selfishly) is great for depth at the position if one of the two current freshman get injured.
It's easy to side with the majority.
It would awesome if he came back next year. He's probably much better than any portal RB we could get.
I'm not sure how much these guys will play though. I hope we can get out to a good lead before they sit.
Crazy times we live in. Trying to guess which college kids will play in the bowl game. I've gotten to the point I just cheer for the guys in blue and white.....whoever they are.
totally agree - in the game today you need a few RBs to take up the wear and tear. I would like to see Lee get back some of his original size. he arrived on campus as 240 and has actually trimmed down. it is nice to have a diverse group of RBs in terms of what they bring. he could play the role of the monster RB for us. now we are using our smallest RB as the short yardage guy. Lee moved the pile as a FR and would be great to get back some of that. his attempts to be an outside guy have not been great. Lee also has been a solid on catching passes out of the backfield.
