My sister’s wedding was 1982 Nebraska.
My sister was PSU also, and her husband. I actually forgot about the game until pretty far into the reception. (I was a drinker back then.) I’m looking for this guy and find him in a pantry room watching the game.

-How’s it going?

-Not good, Nebraska just scored. It’s our last chance.

I was in graduate school at Illinois. Graduate school rarely respects weekends, and we had a mandatory departmental conference off-campus the day of this game. Very nice meeting facility. Fortune smiled upon me in the form of a room with a TV outside the meeting room. During breaks in the conference, I and a few other students (none of them Penn Staters) watched the game. With each break, the A$$. BEATING. o_O got better. It was a great day, in spite of the conference.

Was sitting in SH as a college freshman. My brother and I left our seats with a couple minutes left in the first half to go talk to our parents in EH and we chose to go around the west stands. We got blocked off by security allowing OSU to go to the locker room and the amount of yelling and heckling of Cooper and the Suckeyes was glorious. No matter how good any season ever will be for PSU, '94 will always be my favorite.

Ahhh. Always a nice reminder that you can be No 1 ranked team, beat a ranked team by SEVEN touchdowns, and still get dropped in the polls.

Memories, indeed.
Georgia can learn about the phenomenon of winning big and dropping this weekend. They can beat Florida by 60, and I'll still expect that we'll pass them on Sunday if we can take care of business.

Love to see it, but dubious that the SEC/southern voting bloc would do that.
