Is that the most yards/TD combo ever given up by OU?

Doubtful. West Virginia a few years Back had similar numbers, I think.

And that’s a Mike-called game as well.

It shocked Mike Stoops. He didn't know UGA ran the ball, with 3 RB. He was caught off guard and we simpletons do not understand college football.

We filled the box with undersized linebackers, 2 defensive ends and one defensive tackle.

Best rushing team in the country and we couldn't put 2 defensive tackles on the field together.

We are taking away our first level, so one mistake, one missed assignment at the linebacker level and you have a running back going 75 yards with little execution required.

It's a failed scheme and Mike's stubnorness and ego won't allow him to change. We had a month to prepare and saw zero adjustments in preparation for the Dawgs.

Mike’s biggest problem is he actually thinks he is doing a good job and fans are simply too critical. It’s the players, not the coaching (or lack of). We’ve all heard his post game comments.

And it sounds like the young pup is buying it.

Not defending Mike... but Anderson had over 200 yards rushing and we rushed for over 260 on vaunted Georgia defense.
That's a little different. OUs offense is much more dynamic than Georgia's offense. Georgia's defense has a ton more options to defend.

But going in, everyone knew what kind of offense Georgia was. And they did what everyone KNEW they would do. And against Mike's game plan, those 2 Georgia RBs averaged 13yds per carry. Words cannot describe just how fail that is. Mike is just awful.

You really want failure? I saw on a couple of other boards that 229 yards of that total came BEFORE first contact.

Jeebus!

I'd love to hear that pinned on the players not executing.

"Uhhh, yeah, huh-huh, I lined them all up to the left, but they knew they were supposed to run right on the snap but didn't. Huh-huh. EXECUTION!"
